[EU] Pandion Knights : Fun, Relaxed, Mature Fleet

History
For over 10 years the Pandion Knights have had a presence in online gaming. Starting off with the FPS game Delta Force 2, Aldor created a new online community with his co-founder Madmaxious.

Over time the numbers grew and we played through many games including Everquest II, Guild Wars, Call of Duty Series, Battlefield 1942, Counter Strike, Eve Online and many more. When MMO’s became much more mainstream, numbers exploded and World of Warcraft introduced us to a much wider audience of people who were playing online for the first time.

Since then we have continued to expand - into other games such as Aion, League of Legends and updated FPS games, such as COD4.

Now we are at a time where online gaming is very different to before, but we still look forward to growing our community even bigger whilst always remembering our core values and ethos.

Ethos
We believe that the player is more important than the character. What that means is that we all play games because we enjoy playing with other people. We like to make friends and in many cases the game is not that important.

Our core members tend to be hard working adults, parents and full time students and players from all over the EU join us.

It is more important to have fun and relax than to be the best. In many games you do of course have to have a degree of focus and a certain make up of player types however that should not prevent people from joining our community.

For many people they play multiple games and enjoy them all. For others they can only play a couple of nights a week.

It is not about being the best it’s about having fun.

Resources
All our games have an Admin Team. They are experienced PK members who want to make a game work. They work hard in recruitment, news updates and arranging events.

In addition to our loyal members we have a number of great resources that are available for all.

• Professionally Designed Website: www.pandionknights.co.uk is our main homepage and as you can see looks pretty awesome. We try to update this with information relating to our main games but also other games and news that maybe of interest.
• Active Forums: add /forums on to that link or simply click the forums page and you will be taken to our active forums where many members discuss anything at all. With a Facebook style “status update” and a shout box it’s down to you to either just type a random comment or produce a lengthy forum post.
• TeamSpeak 3: The voice quality on TS3 is amazing and we have a server capable of several hundred connections. Our homepage shows you all the details to get on and all you need is our password which is … well, you have to join us first for that.
• Dedicated Games Server: We have a 100% dedicated Server which we can do as we like. If new FPS games come out and there is a server client for it – we are happy to host it. We can also customise it as we see fit.

We also have a dedicated Left4Dead Server hosted by Multiplay which are the UK’s leading supplier of top quality games servers.

• Events: Every year we have one big get-together in Summer and various smaller meetings throughout the year. With over 60 people attending from all over the UK it’s a great time to meet up and chill out with friends.

Star Trek Online
In Star Trek Online the Pandion Knights Fleet is setup with one thing in mind. We want to have as much fun as possible in the game without the usual MMO Politics that go on.

If you can not make events and stuff thats cool. All we as is that you are a social person within the community and you help out when you can

Up and coming games.
We are always taking an interest with up and coming games and we will always try many games out.

Who we are looking for?
Members: We are looking for members with a similar mind-set. People who want to play to have fun. If you don’t have a huge amount of time – that’s ok. If you don’t consider yourself the best – that’s great, because as long as you enjoy being part of a community, like to meet new people and say 'hello' then you will fit in just fine.

Admins: Once you have got settled you may consider doing a bit more. We are always looking for Admins in games that are new, or perhaps that we don’t even play yet. Just let Aldor know.

In Star Trek Online the Pandion Knights Fleet is setup with one thing in mind. We want to have as much fun as possible in the game without the usual MMO Politics that go on.
