Default Subspace-radio: Live Radio For Sto

http://subspace-radio.net/
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The smell of cigar smoke and synth was heavy in a guarded and well hidden meeting room where executives gathered to take the final steps to approve and launch SUBSPACE RADIO.

An overlooked and now ancient radio relay system established during the first Romulan/Klingon wars was being reborn as many of the modern communication relays had been destroyed in the opening stages of this new Federation/Klingon war.

The goal was an old one. Without prejudice, to bring continual news and entertainment to a soon to be war-weary citizenry across many empires.

There was a moment of pause as the executives looked at one another. A word was given and a finger lightly touched down upon a console.
The network came to life.

Billions of beings throughout the four quadrants of the Milky Way galaxy sighed in relief...

...and once again tuned into radio.

I cant wait to start getting my segment to you in a form you can use. And I hope others find ways to get involved as well.

And again thank you for doing this!

Question tho. Does the network not have a license for MP4 audio and more importantly HE AAC use? I would like a 24k stream with near equal quality to the current stream like Sky FM does.

It'd be really nice if Cryptic included this as something canon, or an optional add-on for constant non-browser access.

Just something that I think would be interesting.

Congratulations Kinneas...I know you have been pushing for this for quite some time.

I look forward to roaming the sectors and listening to all the great info this service will provide. I may even let you set up a clandestine signal booster on our Fleet star base!

Cool, I will listen (and I am right now)

Btw, If you haven't seen it yet. You better change the background pic in the popup version. I don't like the EvE version :
