Arrow Combining Pre-Order package items onto a single account

Can we do this?

Has this been answered yet?

Cryptic just released a press release about Pre-order bonus items. Here it is:
http://www.prnewswire.com/news-relea...-78698527.html

I have to keep special tabs on prnewswire for work, so this was a pleasant surprise when I found it. (and it seems whoever is writing their press releases are not proof reading).

I believe we can, someone posted they wrote to cryptic and the answer was basically yes, but you need the retail key to activate the goodie, aka no preorder and return type deals. Too lazy to search for the post but it was sometime today.

Yes, but can one enter the pre-order packing code from multiple retail outlets? I snaged the best buy pre-order for $5 yesterday. Does that code grant me a tribble? So if I then goto target and walmart and pickup pre-order packaging (if they have it) can I enter those codes as well? I may run down to target tonight and give it a crack. *shrug* Problem is I don't know if that will get me the pre-order goodies as well.

In the end, I'll probably pickup the Collectors edition from Gamestop, get me an oldie but a goodie.

Yes, from what I have been reading, nothing first hand from Cryptic so I'll leave it to others to "prove" it. I feel comfortable in doing it myself.

It's been said that the goodies for all purchases come within the game box, so you'll have to buy 7 copies of the game to get them all.

I just don't get how that would work. They'd have to have a whole set of boxes for pre-order customers, and then a seperate set for Joe buyer. Unless the regular codes are store specific and that + your pre-order code combo get you the goodies.l

*shrug* I'll see later tonight if one can enter two pre-order codes.

Usually you get a seperate code to activate the pre-order goodies, so activating several of them on one account should be possible.

It's often done that so it's possible to hand these things out at a later stage as well.

This is what people say happened with CO. You need to pair the Best Buy Pre-Order code with the Best Buy retail key to actually get the tribble.

There's no official word from Cryptic, but everyone guesses they'll do it the same way to prevent the whole "pre-order and I don't actually buy it from that store" practice that's become rampant.

What it sounds like is that each key says what store you got it from so if you preorder it from say amazon and Best Buy to get the pre order bonus you have to put in 4 keys... the 2 preorder keys and the 2 game keys

If that's the case then those people that get multiple versions should get their "free" time from all the versions so if you preorder 3 versions and put them all on one account you have 45 days to 3 months of "free" time to play rather than the standard 15 days to 1 month from one box...

I also think the practice of making people buy it from multiple retailers to get all the preorder stuff is disgusting... just for the record. All pre-orders should come with the same thing.

Bummer, I just hate having to pick one! :P I want a tribble AND a borg crewmate AND a Constitution.
