Good scene.

I do hope that the Conflict with the Gorn becomes an interesting story, rather than a side reference, though.

This is Great! i love how everything is all tying together with the movie and how the story is really becoming alive again! It's really taking the somewhat predictability of Star Trek out of the picture, because nothing is certain now.

Default Nero versus the Klingon Fleet

I am confused though how Nero's fight with a "Klingon Fleet" fits into the happenings pre Star Trek movie.

Nero was in a mining ship, advanced versus the original series tech, but how did he manage to destroy a Klingon Fleet of same-era war vessels?

Any illumination would be appreciated.

Read the countdown comics and it talks about how he got an advanced weaponry system from a hidden Romulan military base after murdering the Praetor.

This is a very good article. Jake Sisko as the narrator gives the logs a personal touch. I wonder if sometime they will talk about B'Elanna. The Klingon government not willing to discuss the war only seems natural.

I believe that Nero tangled with the Klingons en route to the HUE (Hobus Ultranova Event). Most likely he set his course through the once Romulan, but now Klingon space to avoid detection. The Federation were busy keeping an eye on the Gorn/Klingon conflict, and the Klingons were busy fighting the Gorn. I would venture a guess that the Klingons tried to stop Nero and order him out of Klingon space. So Nero kicked some booty.

Meh... I'll pass. but thanks for the info. There's ALWAYS an advanced weaponry system hidden on some Romulan military base!
