Next Playable Faction

Hey there everyone! It's that time again! Our next poll is up and ready, and this time we'd like to know...

Which playable faction would you like to see added to STO?

Borg

Romulan

Dominion

Cardassian

Horta

First! Needless to say I voted Romulans.

Reasons:

- They are one of the three original "core" empires (United Federation of Planets, Klingon Empire, Romulan Star Empire)
- They have beautiful ships.
- Playing them would not break canon or require altering of established canon (which would be the case with playable Borg)
- They could offer a nice new gameplay gimmick. Federation will get Diplomacy. Klingons may get Conquest. Romulans could get Covert Ops.
- They already have an interesting storyline which could be further expanded upon.

Seems unnecessary to have a poll for what we all know is the obvious answer:

Romulan Star Empire.

it has to be romulans. they are part of the big 3 and the only other race to be in all shows. and their ships are awesome

then i would go cardassians, because they where the next to show up in TNG and they are personally one of my favourites

then dominion

please never make the borg playable

And while we're at it, I'd like to request the TOS Romulan uniforms! Drafty bits of tailoring, but they were stylish as all get-out.

I would like to see romulans as the next race as you can have fun with them against both klingon and the feds as both have history against them.

Also can add a new dimension to the klingon race as to the tech side

I had to vote Romulan as well, I want to fly their ships...

I was tempted by Borg, but they have no ship variety and flying a cube or sphere is just ...meh.

Though I enjoyed DS9 I really have no interest in playing either Cardassians or Dominion.

I am assuming the Horta is a joke...
