Lestat wanted to live with humans and be worshipped by them. Admiral goals as they were, he didn't just mindlessly slaughter them and looked down on the act. Humans are food, you shouldn't kill your food source just for fun.

Someone in another forum I visit started a thread along the lines of "Blade vs the Twilight H@#$s and the True Blood H@#$s.

It was pretty funny.

Blade vs Twilight? How can that even be a debate? Blade would destroy the twilight emo vampires simply by looking at them.
