What are the "Q "up too in the future? What is there part into this game? Does "Q" set special mission's? Can i become a "Q" if i max out my level's?
How about a Zone called Q town? Were you can pick up Old mission's that you missed, because you wanted to go solo and went up in levels the hard way.

I don't see being a Q as even a possible max level gameplay mechanic. Omnipotence is just a tad bit overpowering. :)
As to missions from a member of the continuum, anything's possible with them... and I do mean anything. But at this stage, we just don't know. :)

nice use of "big" words there. omnipotence, nice addition.
i see the Q being CSR's. or maybe the Q that we know from tng/ds9 giving a mission or 2

Omnipotent isn't exactly a big word when you're talking about the "Q."
They use the word in the series almost every time they describe the "Q."
At any rate, I surely hope that we'll never get their powers in the game because when we do, we'll all sit there bored reading "the old" and "the new" after we've done everything, seen everything, and said everything.

I'd expect the Q to be GM characters, I'd really like to see GM's creating random events by using their powers to screw with people every so often.

Sure they use it, but they don't spell it in the show, lol. :D

Yeah, and they don't cite the differences between Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient, and Omnivorous. :-P

Hehe, good point. And... what about Omniimpotent? Nah, I'm sure that it happens to lots of Qs. :D

It'd be great, I could call upon them to, say, erase an entire jem'hadar fleet if I really needed it :D:p

I'm sure they'd rather make some drawn-out game out of it :p

I think that members of the Q-Continuum should definitely be in the game, but I think their role should be limited, perhaps to in-game support personnel.

Q in the future? Q can go from the begin to the end of the universe by snapping his fingers. It's not like our time applies to Q.
Also I disagree that GM's should be Q, I'd say GM's are like founders, caretakers or whatever powerful beings. Evil hackers/scriptkiddies will be the Q's. Abusing the system, doing things that seem impossible, being annoying and unwelcome, etc.

,because you wanted to go solo and went up in levels the hard way.
FYI- STO = NO Levels
your not going to be a level 50 Galaxy Class fly around or person beaming down using your level 32 type 2 phaser

There ahs been no statement one way or another. Skill or not, a skill based system will just be another form of levelling up, whether others wish to admit that or not. Skill systems just spread out the tedium over several things instead of just one thing.

I think there should be some way to access the continuum (however that's spelled) Via some, wormhole, or Q created distortion, if you know what i mean. It would be interesting to explore, but I'm sure most of you will reply with "but what would it look like" Well my idea was that, it could be somewhere to, gain quests/missions from the Q and i think the there should be different representations (looks) for it, for different races etc. etc....

Although I do think it would be intersting to go there, I feel I must point out that every time anyone went there (that wasn't a Q) it was because a Q brought them there. ANd it always looked diferent bepending on what the Q wanted to show them. I think there should be missions that has a Q take us there every now and then, but they are way to powerful to be bothered with us just showing up uninvited.

I hope the GM's are Q. It would certainly explain their presence in neat way.
