Has anyone else noticed that every single space shot was done in the same planetary system?

I didn't notice this until you mentioned it a while back in another thread. This actually does not surprise me especially if they are more than a year out from launch, they might have simply built a "pre-fab" system on the fly for the trailer and game play.

That'd be nice I agree, I just try to be optomistic about it and say that they're to busy working on the game to post stuff haha.

You know I got so used to seeing The Enterprise doing flybys of the same red planet on TNG episodes I must've thought they were doing the same here.

i agree with the temp system for trailer and shots, i wonder though if their going to keep that one in the full game somewhere. If so, im going to find it when the game comes out just so i can say i was there.

i would love the idea of screens coming in every couple of weeks, but i would also like to see some kind of article about ships. something like every few weeks or so there is a spotlight about a federation and a klingon ship and their histories and how they are going to affect the game. Maybe give us a look at some of the new ships and how the old ones are going to feel.

Have you checked freespace 2 source code project (with all the updates) ?
