I was thinking about the Vulcan Mind Meld and how it probably wouldn't be able to be recreated in the game.
But wouldn't it be cool if you could mind-meld with some one and see a movie of the last hour or so of their play(fast forwardable of course but able to slow down the parts of detail like a media player interface).
Just a thought any other ideas out there?

As an extension of that idea, what about if we were to take on some of their abilities and skills for a limited time?

I think it's possible to have it in STO, but it will most likely be an Vulcan-specific ability. And can only be done on NPCs. (Even non mission ones).
I'd love to go into a temple, and you Mind Meld with a guard to find out the details such as traps and ways to disable them.

Yeah I couldn't see it in the MMO part of the game itself, but like you said, a quest or a mission, would be exciting and different, like one of those puzzle games where you have to watch a video to find something out :eek:
