The "Picard Maneuver" as an emote

Yep, please give us the picard maneuver ...

Or better give us the following:

Make a set of let's say 50 maneuvers like the picard maneuver, and on character creation you chose which one you like most. And this becomes the emote which your character performs randomly when he stands still.


That would be reaaaaalllly cool.

I hope we can do the real Picard maneuver. Of course it would be risky. If we don't drop out of warp quick enough we'd ramp the enemy ship. Everyone would be doing it though.

I hope we can do interesting things though like collecting explosive gasses and venting them around enemy ships, the Riker maneuver. Of course it may be difficult for anyone to put these types of tactical maneuvers in a game.

You can use the "KHAAAAN!" emote for that

that ascii pic of picard rubbing his forehead that's going around the boards would make a good sitting emote for having to deal with annoying people.

to be honest, the more emotes the better, i'm the sort of person who fills up their quickbars with emotes.

It would be sort of funny, in the sense that characters should shift around and do "stuff" while standing around instead of .. well.. just standing there like a statue.. I guess it would just be one of those "nods" to the series..

Heck, they even implemented it in Picard's standing animation in Bridge Commander. We better get it!

And Cormoran, the image you're referring to is universally known as "facepalm", or if it's the actual image instead of the ASCII art, "facepalm.jpg" (yes, people actually write that out instead of posting the picture sometimes). I agree that it's also a mandatory emote.

i dont wee what uniforms and a tatical maneuvar have to do with each other. but starfleet uniforms have always been 2 piece.


The possible exception is the 1st season of TNG where they had those god awful skin tight things
