personaly as much as i do love the kilngons and the fediration, i in all games prifer to be the outcast and play by my self not answearing to anyone at all not beloning to any faction. My question is will i be able to brake off from starfleet command and be a rouge ship with maybe few other friends?? form our own coalition and give the thinger to everyone??
you mean like the pirates in sfc?

Pirates are a part of the klingon military, as announced at GenCon.
also, please do not use so many question marks. it is really annoying.

All indications say no. Not at launch, that's for sure.
It's not traditionally very Star Trek anyway, to play the "space pirate" who "gives the finger to everyone".
I think you'd be happier with THIS GAME (http://eve-online.com/).

yes well no eve is not a good game at all, and you telling me that star trek dont have piarets?? i have seen all of the seasons and yes i dont realy remember meny piarets but if this world going to be so diverse then why not allow people to be indeviduals??
p.s wasnt in some of jean way episode where they met some piaret faction??

As others have said, if you play a Klingon you can be a pirate, but Starfleet pirates are not going to be an option, at least not at launch.

you mean like the kazon? that were completly different species, plus all the voyager stuff happened in the delta quadrant, and thats not even close to the areas we will play in

yeah, pirates or privateers arent really starfleet style,
i do hope they allow the option of "going rogue" however,
i mean, how many times in startrek did they come across/fight a ship whos captin or crew just kinda went off the deepend,
or maybe a fleet acting like The Maquis?

At the very launch of the game apart from a certain klingon rank it is highly unlikely that their will be a whole devoted to the "pirate" sort of thing. Although after the talk at vegas I have come to believe that this is the first MMORPG where the possibilitys are truly endless. Im sure there will be a way.:)

Certainly not at launch, however, given the large number of people in this forum that want to play rogue federation captains, renegades, traders, miners and host of other spacey occupations seen in other games, some sort of 'Independentness' is going to have to put in at some point.
Don't panic though, from what I've seen in faction based games, very few actually have any actaully allegiance to it anyways, unless as an excuse for pvp.
