I would just like to say I am pleasantly surprised with what i have seen of the game so far and just wanted to let Crypitc know they are doing a great job!! Don't Change Anything Cryptic This is going to be Perfect.

This thread is made for ONLY POSITIVE remarks to express what you LIKE or to show your appreciation for cryptic.

If you want to suggest things to change or things you don't like please make another thread that is all.

And please do not include worries or concerns as it can start debates. We all got them and there is plenty of those threads already.

Just positive remarks please. :)

So far Im am very pleased with everything I've seen. Loved the trailer by the way. The only thing I would like to see (or an answer if we can do this) is to be able to board an enemy ship in PvP combat and start sabotaging systems or fight our way to the bridge and activate the self destruct sequence.

After reading interviews with Jack Emmert prior to the live webcast, I was feeling pretty lousy about this game's development. But, after watching the trailer and hearing a little more from him, my fears have subsided significantly. I'm excited for this game's potential. I don't think it's going to outdo WoW in terms of subscribers, and I really hope that Cryptic isn't trying to shoot for that. They should just march to the beat of their own drum and make the game Star Trek fans want and need.

Cryptic, keep up the good work...but keep us in the loop a little more, okay? We've got people here asking questions and not getting answers. Let's start hearing from you so we can end some of this duplicate threading on subjects that have been debated to death.

Could'nt agree more with this thread!...most threads i've been reading show no respect to cryptic and everyone else working on STO...look these people will do they're job and the game will be brilliant.

Atleast wait till the games come out before you slag it off or run it down?.

I have to say, Cryptic is taking on quite the challenge. But of what I've seen and read so far (I haven't left this website for over 24 hours now, sleep is for the weak) the possibilities for this game seem endless. No matter the final product I'm sure it will be amazing! Just take your time on the development, don't want you guys n gals to do anything too hasty now ;) Keep up the good work!

They are doing a fantastic job as far as giving us information. The look and feel seems true to form. I was part of the COH community as Cryptic went through that development and that turned out great.

I have faith in them. Keep up the good work guys!

Thank you for everything.

It has been a real pleasure learning about the folks at Cryptic...and an even bigger honor getting to meet folks like Jack Emmert and many of the amazing folks at Reverb Communications!

Las Vegas was amazing. Thank you for the interviews!

For some...what we have heard so far is already beyond what many were expecting at launch.

I hope the game does well and I am looking forward to the next 40 years of Star Trek and hopefully seeing Star Trek Online evolve over that time.

Long live Trek...and now...Long Live Cryptic.

Hmm what to say...

Star Tek Online has been a dream long in the making.. and one which seemed for a time doomed never to come to fruition.

However, finally the dream is coming true in Cryptics hands.

Much love from this Trekkie, thanks Cryptic, it means more than I have sufficient and adequate words to express :)

For a long time, I felt like I was on an emotional roller coaster regarding the development of this game.

There were highs and lows, fights and disagreements, and then PE lost the license. I started hearing some pretty scary rumors, and I thought all was lost.

When I heard Cryptic had received the license, I didn't know what to think. I'd heard plenty of good things about CoH, and was curious to find out more.

Then, when I was in Vegas, all my fears were obliterated. The excitement and enthusiasm with which the dev team has approached STO is inspiring. Everyone is just pumped to be making a Star Trek game of this scale, and they are as thorough as they are excited. The preview blew me away, and we can spend all day on these forums nitpicking the minutia of the details, but I have faith that the spirit driving Cryptic will send them in the right direction.

Kudos to everyone at Cryptic who has taken the acquisition of this important license with the respect it is due. I can't speak for the previous license holder, I'm not sure if anyone will ever really be able to, but it seems to me that you folks get Star Trek, and if you can translate that into a game, it'll be a sure thing. Everything I've seen so far has got me eagerly anticipating this game, and I can't wait to see more!

I really have no worries with cryptic as a whole, they've turned out one decent franchise (CoX) and are on the verge of two more (Champions, STO). I know these guys are about quality and making sure something works before putting it out for public consumption, as they are gamers at their core. STO is going to be that trek MMO everyone can get into, from the casual gamer to the more hardcore trekker. Another thing I like about cryptic is they actually listen to their endusers when it comes to content of product. Eventhough STO will be a product based on an established canon, I have no doubt that they will add/modify content on the fly to make sure even the most casual of gamer will be able to experience an adventure within a couple of hours of gameplay.

Seriously, I see Jack Emmert in a ton of different interviews on the net. Kudos to you man, thats ruff having to help develop the game and travel around to get asked mostly the same questions all the time. Or a ton of questions that are already on the FAQ page lol. Anyway, I wish the whole team at Cryptic the best. Good job so far guys, keep up the good work :).

If they change anything, it needs to be making the game less cartoon like. In addition they need to make sure that I can push the resolution to the max that my system can handle.

As far as how they are doing. I have to give them two thumbs up. WAY up!

I am just dying to play!!!!

I support Cryptic Studios for sure for undertaking this (w00t!) but I know that the publishers have an awful lot of sway over a game so if something sucks it's not always the Dev's fault.

I'll show my appreciation when it's been out a while and I can see it's good stuff. Hope they don't bugger it ala SWG.
