I am a big user of Xfire and just want to suggest they contact Xfire at http://www.xfire.com and work with them to have full Xfire intergration at launch.

I used xfire a couple of times, but it never seemed to do anything for me that I couldn't do ingame.

I have a gut feeling that voice chat is going to be built in. Thats a given for fleet operations..

Chating with friends without having to minimize the game. but mainly I like to track my gameplay hours.

Wouldn't you just chat ingame? And I don't want to know how many hours I play, I hear it enough from my wife. :)

could just chat ingame, but what about friends that are not ingame. Xfire allows ingame chat with people that are not ingame.

How about having the option to make STO windowed? A few MMORPGs do this. Flyff being one of them if memory serves me.

Why not allow both? I do <3 my Xfire, but I love being able to have my WoW windowed.

Ahh, makes sense. Usually I'm on vent, so everybody just cross chatted anyway.

I Agree they need to sort voice chat out from the start. WOW implemented chat a long time after first launch. This made lots of players have to pay another fee for voice chat using third party software. I reckon we pay enough in the monthly fee for online games so include it in the game at start. :D

"Computer, Where is Com.."
"Have you taken the trash out yet?"
<That is not a valid command>
"Ugh, no I haven't.. I will in a minute.. Computer, where is Commander .."
"Well you better hurry up, before you forget about it"
<That is not a valid search query, please specify the person you wish to locate>
"Ugh.."
*little brother runs by and yells "Computer, power off all systems and initiate self desctruct sequence with a 5 second timer!"
"AHHH!! I'm going to kill you!"

Sounds like a good idea to me to have STO and Xfire working together at launch. I do like keeping track of my gaming hours and the ease of chatting ingame that Xfire allows.
So, you've got my vote, Untouchable.

Irislynn1, btw on Xfire. =)
