From looking at the video's, i haven't seen one ship that has had voyagers ship armour implemented. is this going to be in the game? how about the new torpedoes that voyager had?

They would have to mod that armor, because the borg were beginning to adapte to the armor

I doubt we'll see that sort of 'super ship' tech unless the Borg have adapted and the balance is still there.

More than likely a tech upgrade you would have to find or research. I could see it in the game though it might be difficult to animate. Probably will need some sort of unique material to get it though.

it would be interesting to see if/what 7's or 1's Borg enhancements of Voyagers systems make their way to the fleet.

The armor was worthless by the time Voyager reached the delta quadrant, the borg were ripping right through it like tissue paper, leading me to believe it was only designed as an emergency countermeasure. It didnt hold up for very long.

Futher, is it just me or did the term "Ablative Armor" get tossed around on Nemesis? Perhaps it's possible the material used was integrated into normal armor, instead of being used as something that goes on top of it in a fight.

i think ablative armor was also on the defiant if im thinking correctly.

The armour i am referring to isn't the armour that the ship had when it left deep space 9, I'm talking about the armour that admiral Janeway gave captain Janeway in the last episode.
basically instead of shields, this armour would encase the ship. in the episode the Borg could not adapt and it took many ships to damage Voyager

That's the armor i'm talking about. They adapted to it when voyager was in the tunnel back to Earth (Which in itself raises 100 questions). The Sphere ripped right through the Ablative armor in 10 seconds flat.

yeh you are right it is in paradise lost part 2 the skipper of the lakota says to that admeral that wants to take over the federation i forrgot his name it looks like someone has upgraded the defiant with ablative armour and neglected to tell starfleet

If that's the case, then i think the armor material has been integrated into normal armor, and thus it's not visible like it was on voyager, it's actually part of the normal ship armor and thus the ships look like they normally do, but with better durability.

The Super armour if introduced would have ti been nerfed compared to its series counterpart
as the borg may be able to adapt but it would be super "i win" armour against eveyone else

as she uses the same armour on the delta flyer against those heavy klingon cruisers and is able to withstand a beating with her tiny ship

imagine that same armour on the sovreign class or even the defiant?

then who knows it is 30 years in the future (after nemesis)

edit: the ablative armour from DS9 is not the same as the armour mentioned in the OP

the super armour came from the future while the ablative armour fitted to the defiant was there while voyager was still in its earlyish years of gallavanting

Ya but it was a really "Cool" looking defensive measure. The ship looked totally Badass. I'd like to see a blade of armor enhancement for ships maybe even alternate shield options.

The armor used on the Defiant was called "Ablative Armor" and the armor that Admiral Janeway brought back from the future was called "Ablative Hull Armor." And I hope the latter isnt in the game...

We don't know what happened to the armor Voyager had, it could've remained on the ship, Section 31 could have gotten their hands on it, maybe Starfleet removed it from the ship to study it and improve apon it.

As for the Transphasic Torpedoes well ... I really hope those arent in the game, it would be overkill, Tri-Cobalt Torpedoes or Tri-Cobalt Devices as they were called in "Caretaker" are powerful enough.

Cover the hull of the ship with 'red-shirts"

That should soak up some of the damage

Or they destroyed it! Temporal prime directive people!

Wouldn't work, in essence, you'd be putting a giant red shirt onto your ship... that should work the opposite of armor. :)

I'd imagine that this was the case. Of course, as already stated, whilst it was officially destroyed, I'd think that Section 31 would nick the designs for the "greater good".

It was also useless against the Borg since Admiral Janeway gave them the info in order to force Captain Janeway through the conduit.
