If you like Dark desktops you can go to the main STO page and right click on the individual news boxes, the resolution is pretty good to stretch on to your desktop.
But my favorite Star Trek wallpapers.... go to the Mod section of Bethesda's Legacy forums... If you've never seen the high resolution ship screenshots that the mods can make, you might just pee yourself.
Personally, I built my DDR3 Quad-core and a new video card with Windows XP, just so I could play the Legacy Mods in all their DX9 Shader3.0 glory
