Question to Cryptic ~ Starting with a partner

Hi... first of it all thanks for the really good new information about sto...

I heard that you will start the game as "captain" of your own ship,... but now my question:

Could you stear a ship with another player at the same time, from the beginning (eg.: one is captain, one is "numberone")?

I want to play together with my girlfriend on the same ship, right from the beginning.

Not later on when we are in the same fleet(guild) and must buy a bigger ship or exploring the space with two ships... flying side by side.

Or could a player have the possibilty to start with a realy small ship (only 2-5 crewmembers)...

I hope you see what I mean.

i don't think so, but there is no reason you couldn't both make a ship and fly together from the start.

It would appear that most cooperative missions will either be two (or more) ships for space or away missions. While they haven't decided that multi-player ships are impossible to do they feel that it would be a later addition to the game (probably post launch) because they can't build engaging content for it.
