I've been visiting these forums for a while now, and everytime I come on I see some poster QQing about some issue. This is my first post and I felt I had to make it, cuz it's sickening me to read this crap.
So heres my rant.......
1. I am hardcore star trek fan, but I also play other MMO's and I dont see why people have an issue with some player wanting to name their ship watever they want if they feel like it. NOT EVERYONE IS GOING TO BE INTERESTED IN RP. (Maybe cryptic will solve this by having wow style pvp and rp severs)
2. People that have written the game off before any kind of footage has come out is seriously ****ing me off. I hope these guys stay away from the game, so I dont see them in game QQing about some issue.
3. If you dont like the game, dont play it. Quit QQing constantly.

USS World of Warcraft. ;)
I'm going to make a custom Federation race character that looks like a Mur'loc. :p
This may be the only game that I'll play on a RP server for.

Why, you are correct, good sir. This is an MMO forum!
Besides, its hard to have a discussion without different viewpoints. Its also hard to inform developers of your negative reactions if you don't voice them. After all, forums are only set up for two reasons, as they're not paying for all this bandwidth and hosting for nothing:
Marketing and free feedback from potential customers.

I have no problem with contructive criticism of the game, or even suggestions on making it better, but all I'm seeing in most threads is constant complaining.
Not everything is going to be as exactly how any of us want. People need to get over it and stop having unrealistic expectations.

Actually, QQ is derived from Eve-Online, not wow. The two letters look like a pair of crying eye's. The saying that originated there is "More Pew Pew, less QQ"...with pew pew being the sound of laser fire. You'll being hearing that a lot in ST:O regardless of how little or how much it is like Eve.

let's get back to the point.
We should encourage new ideas and contructive criticism, but when every 2nd thread I read is "OMG, I wont play this game because it doesn't have this or that".... gets pretty annoying fast

Threads where people complain are ok. But threads where we complain about complainers, not so much.
