I sure would like to visit or do a mission or two in a rather outdated ship, be it NX or constitution. Holodeck would suit this perfectly.

And there nothing against a good old-fashioned kobayashi-maru-test.

I sure hope so. I'm also hoping that their first expansion includes allowing players to create a new character and play in the TOS and/or Enterprise eras. Pleeeeease, Cryptic?? :)

I would much rather see them as extras in missions. I can't really see myself flying in an old clunky ship when technology has advanced so much.

I would, it would be like owning a 1969 Camaro it's old but it has style and people tend to get jealous when they see you driving one. Besides would't it be cool if you could have multiple ships like in EVE.

I believe that the news release states that the era of this game is a couple of generations after TNG.
