They beam it out you fool!
Thats the reason everyone joined Starfleet, did you really think that they joined for the priverlidge of exploring the galaxy and risking their lives?

That is a bit of a risk. an what would they do when the transporters dont work????

While it's true that occasionally transporter accidents lead to human/poop hybrids they still continue to use the transporter as a means to transport any unwanted bodily matter into space. It's the only way. If they have no transporters they poop in the corner.

If you look at the blueprints they sell of the Enterprise A you will see that there is a bathroom. Only one bathroom on a ship with a crew of over four hundred.

I suspect in a restroom... like the rest of us. Being an advanced civilization as they are, I’m sure there are restrooms all over the ship, starbase or wherever. Hehehe, I cannot believe I attempted to answer this question logically when it was obviously meant for a silly answer. Unfortunately I don’t have one… Rats !!!

I agree.

Seriously, though, I think I can only recall one episode of Star Trek in which I saw a toilet, or anything that resembled a bathroom. It was an episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. I forget which one it was, but I think Dr. Bashir and Jadzia Dax were hanging out in Kira Nerys's bathroom after a party, or something to that effect. I could have the characters mixed up.

I always wonder about stuff like this in RPGs. It's like your mighty barbarian warrior just goes around with all that waste sloshing around in his big barbarian bowels.

At least in Duke Nukem 3D you could use toilets and urinals.

Somebody on a similar thread said that he thought they vaporized it with a hand phaser. But it seems to me that future humans have done away with bodily waste. There are still those rare ocassions where people need to jettison waste from thier bodies. But this usually only happens when one is sick. Which is why the Enterprise D only had one bathroom.

Well on one of the voyager episodes I remember someone saying about queues forming for the toilets and some people complaining about the bolians ..

How do you think the food synthesizers work? A magic wand?

James Doohan would say at the conventions that it was phasered away.

Ahh the question thats plagued Trek fans for years, Where do you "go" on a starship? i would guess in the airlock that way when your done you can just close the door and eject the wast into space.
