Anything you know about these subjects, opinion also would be appreciated. Thanks ahead for your ideas! :D
1. The Dominion War and DS9 "What You Leave Behind" showed us Odo rejoining the Great Link to build a "new" Dominion. What if anything have we heard from the "new" Dominion since then? ( I haven't read any canon or non-canon books with this being addressed.) The Worm Hole to the Gamma Quadrant still exists, will it and DS9 be a part of the game?
2. Cardassian Union was devastated in the Dominion War, leaving it with little or no power to defend itself or recover. Did the Federation help rebuild Cardassia? Did Cardassia join the Federation?
3. There was a particular technology introduced to the Federation by Voyager, the Slipstream Drive. The three main problems with the slipstream drive were the ship's computer was not fast enough for the calculations, the main deflector was not designed specifically for the technology and structural integrity could not be maintained by the technology on the ship at that time. It's been a while since Voyager got back, Janeway is an Admiral, is Slipstream Drive a reality in STO's time? (Or does Star Trek fall back on the excuse they use with any new technology they find, that it will take decades to perfect the said technology?)

i hope this would get touched upon during an expansion pack when they produce content and unlock the wormhole and such

probably get a few missions to settle nearby disputes for them and such but although it might be good for them to join the Federation they seem too stuborn to do that and if anything ask the Feds to help them re-build

i would really hope this is implemented for quick cross-sector travel (the kind gates would be used for)

Voyager itself brought enough tech back to warrent a whole new fleet to be build, E.G the stealth tech couldnt be adapted for the ship but a new one could be built with in mind ect.

SPOILER WARNING!
But then, that's to be expected in a thread with the phrase "Quadrant changing events" in its title ;)
I should like to stress the importance of the events of TNG: Firstborn (http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Firstborn), where it is revealed that - unless the future is somehow altered - Worf will be assassinated about forty years from 2370 (in other words: Perhaps just in time for STO). This will be done in the Great Hall of the Klingon High Council, in the midst of feuds between the Klingon High Houses.
Remember, too, that Toral, son of Duras (http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Toral%2C_son_of_Duras), still lives... ...but surely, you think, no son of Duras can come to power after the disgraces that their House has suffered?
I believe that Toral may very well be the one behind which the Great Houses will unite; unite, perhaps, against the Federation (Realm vs. Realm gameplay!).
Think about it:
Worf - a Starfleet Officer and at the time a discommended Klingon - makes sure that Gowron, son of M'rel, is elected Chancellor of the Klingon High Council by killing his only opponent: The honored Duras, son of Ja'rod.
Now, Chancellor Gowron conveniently recommends Worf, using "evidence" gathered by Starfleet that pins the crimes of Worf's father Mogh on Duras, who can no longer defend himself.
What a clever move on the side of the Federation, turning the tides of the election so that the Klingon Empire will fall under the candidate that best suits their liking! Indeed, they did it again: When Gowron - who they had thought to be their little puppet - began to show his claws, Worf kills him, once more single-handedly electing the leader of the Klingon Empire in a manner that suits the Federation!
It is quite clear to me that the Federation has been very clever in taking steps towards assimilating the Klingon Empire... ...but they will not succeed! We will unite behind Toral, son of Duras, and return glory to the Empire!
By the way, how will the Klingon public feel when they hear that Worf, along with his alcoholic friend Kor (http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Kor) (who would soon fall out of favor with the Klingon High Council), recovered the Sword of Kahless (http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Sword_of_Kahless), which had been lost for millenia... ...only to throw it into interstellar space, so that noone would ever find it!? Through his actions, Worf paralleled Molor, who once threw the Sword of Kahless into the sea, so as to prevent anybody from obtaining it! If Toral does show up with the Sword... ...he will be a hero to the Klingon people! Indeed, I hope he uses it to strike down the imitation (http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Kahless_%28clone%29) who Worf persuaded Gowron to make Emperor (this was before Gowron rebelled against his Human puppet masters)!
Oh, and by the way: Whatever happened to Kurn, son of Mogh? (http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Kurn#Dishonor_and_a_new_life) Worf seems unwilling to tell...
