Ok there were a few unfinished story arcs from a few of the shows and movies. So I got to thinking how cool would it be if that put them in the game for us to live out.
Example of one being:
1. Starfleet command was controlled by the parasites, but Picard and Riker killed them off. Later Data discovers that the mother creature sent a homing beacon to an unexplored region of our galaxy before being destroyed. ( Now I feel ths would make a great story arc in STO, to have the Aliens return once again, but this time in greater numbers to take over the Federation.)
2. The Skin of Evil, Armus, remember this thing? It killed Lieutenant Yar and Troi was being held prisoner. Yes, Picard orders the starship to destroy the shuttlecraft with the ship's phasers, after Troi is rescued, and declares the planet off limits to future Federation travelers, thus leaving Armus quarantined. ( Now what if someone else crashes on Vagra II by mistake, and Armus escapes the planet, then goes hunting for Picard. This would make for a great mission, to stop Armus from hurting Picard, or anyone else.)
3. Unification story were Mr. Spock goes to Romulus to get the ball rolling, between the Governments of Vulcan and Romulan. (This can still play out in STO, and have tons of story arcs in the game, that could lead up to adding the romulan Star Empire as an expansion. )
Those are a few examples, and I am sure there are many many more. But what do you guys think about having unfiinsihed stories added to STO?
