I think we need a place to provide technical feedback about the website.

I'm experiencing the following issues:

In the Opera web browser, inserting numbered lists BBCode works very badly. Each item appears at the top of the post, and in reverse order.

The subscription notification options are a bit crazy for this site. I think there's too much activity here for "Instant" notification because it floods my inbox. Could we get a "First Reply Only" option? And if it would reset after I view the thread or reply again.. that would be superb.

After registering in the forum, the front page at www.startrekonline.com says I am not logged in. I can access the forums and post replies, but I have to login again on the front page to get that message to change.

tick the "keep me logged in" or "automatically log me in" and that should be solved :)

Yes I did that. I can test more if you like. According to the Firefox cookie viewer, the domain setting is correct, ".startrekonline.com". Let's see what actually changes when I do the www login....

On the first attempt it added a SESS cookie and still said I was not logged in.

On the second attempt it added a GALLERYSID cookie, valid only for "www.startrekonline.com". That's when it finally says I'm logged in.

Hope that helps ;)

Since it's not allowed in the messages, it's probably not allowed in the sigs either

Most sites are optimized for Firefox/internet explorer. For some reason other browsers like to read certain coding differently and show it differently.

In short, the code works and the browser just makes it work differently.

The login sounds like your PC isnt saving the cookie to your machine. Check your browser settings. Also, if you are using some kind to PC maintenance program like Ashampoo, turn of the 'delete cookie' aspect of it..

Many people have complained in IRC chat and in posts on these forums that the forum PM system does not work for them. I use Firefox and I find that the forum PM system often acts weird as well. It's also a bad system with no functionality when compared with the system that it replaced.

Also I've seen three different threads now where the first post is shown second and the post that was the response is shown first. I know that this mistake isn't something done by my browser because everyone else that views those threads sees this as well.

Occasionally I'll be logged into the forum, and when I click "Today's Posts" I am no longer logged in when the page comes back with the results.

Holy blue text Batman! Haven't seen peregrine in a bit! Good to see Peregrine back on the boards.
I to have seen posts going above the op posts. I also have seen threads that state who the last poster in a thread was but when i go into the thread, its innacurate.

I second the first paragraph of this post because I can't use PM's at all. All I ever get is: "The mail service is currently down". I would REALLY appreciate if the admins could address this issue, as not being able to even access private messages (on neither Opera V10, nor IE 8) is becoming rather inconvenient.
