The USS Castellum is Intrepid class ship. She was launched in 2378 but continues to prove her worthiness for Starfleet.
Intrepid Class information:
Development and construction of the Intrepid-class (http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Intrepid_class) occurred at the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards with the class entering service by 2370. The second ship, USS Voyager, was commissioned in 2371. She was the first ship to test the Class 9 warp drive in deep space.
Origin of Castellum:
A Castellum (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castellum) is a small Roman detached fort or fortlet used as a watch tower or signal station. The Latin word castellum is a diminutive of castra ("military camp"), which in turn is the plural of castrum ("watchpost"); it is the source of the English word "castle".
