i personally have tried to get into omega fleet. its 'interview' process is.. um.. a lot more than slight'
there are approx 100 rules, on the rules page, as well as 5 kobayashi tests you must take, MORE to apply for more than one specific 'job'! as well as other things you must do.
you're really, really, underplaying how long and involving it is to get into omega fleet. they have a three week "sit on your butt and wait" policy, if you make a bio, they take a week off. tbh i'm not waiting three weeks to be 'invited' into a fleet. i'll wait to day 1, and we'll see how many of these imaginary fleets really, and truly, fleet up.
note: more than omega fleet has these all skewed, 'think more of themselves than they are' rulelist, so dont think they are the only ones...
wait till day one. see how many really form up. thats the best bet.

also.. "already up and running" means you have a forum. i mean yeah, th ats n ice, and all..
but the game isn't out yet.. you dont know how fleet formup will go, it could be a nightmare.. really.
you dont know, know what i mean?
other mmos didn't even have their guild protocols in at day one.. not that i'd think sto would be like that.. but we truly dont know everything yet...
i looked, but i'm not waiting three weeks.. i just see no point.

I pointed out the reasoning behind the weeks of waiting, and the tests. And never intended the general "you" was targeted at you per-say.

For any grouping of people, at a certain size, bureaucracy is needed. The Omega Fleet is currently providing that in pre-STO organization. We also game together within other games, and have grown use to working together.

3. there are several Fleets that I gaurantee you will be formed within 48 hours of the game luanch. Omega Fleet will be one of them.

Thank you for your previous interest in Omega and I am sorry that Omega was not a good fit for you. But please do not go into another thread and speak ill of us. There are 3 groups of people that are using the Omega Fleet name. This individual is one of them. The large fleet Omega Fleet is easily distinguishable based off of our sig and avatars. (all members of our Omega Fleet use an avatar with an Omega symbol that looks like an alien head in it.)

WHOA WHOA WHOA.. hold on. i never spoke ill of you, my opinion is justly that. my opinion. if i feel that your rules - which as a point of clairification i do NOT disapprove of- are too harsh, then thats my opinion, isn't it?
i think you get the wrong idea. you are the second fleet i've looked at.. and the second i feel - and justly so - is being a bit too pretneinous over thier waiting period... its too long. thats my opinion. and i'm entitled to it. please dont put words in my mouth i did not say.... thanks.
