I really hope that Cryptic can get some, if not all of the captains to do some voice overs. I think it would be great and just add that little touch more to the game. Much more immersive if you have one of the legendary prepping you for a mission.

Ive no doubt they'll at least get Patrick Stewart to do the voice over for the Into movie of STO he's already done quite alot of voice over work for ST games I don't see why STO should be any different. :)

It'd be nice to see any of the old captains in, Shatner just as a nice cameo on a new character maybe?

It would be cool to hear many of the old star trek crews voices not just the captains. Like maybe Data, Geordi La Forge, Warf, Beverly, Chakotay, Tuvok, Deanna Troi, "Scotty", Spock, and I'm sure there are hundreds more that would be nice. Some of the old bad guys would be good too. heehee. Like maybe Kor, Seska, Dukat, The Dominion and you know they have to have the Borg. It will be interesting to find out what they do. I can't wait.

I really love that guy young or old he makes me smile inside. No matter how cheesy his role may be. Yet I myspaced him to be friends and he immediately answered yes. Yes It was an automatic thing, but his status kept changing to buy Star Trek Memorabilia. Over and over again. I thought he was possessed by Ferengi. It would be nice to see shatner do some voice work in the game and although it is highly unlikely that we will see anything from his charecter captain. Kirk he will most probably be the voice of the tutorial or some sort of help window.:)

I doubt they'll do it. Since the game is (30 years?) in the future.

30 years after shatner? The game is set 30 years after captain.picard and nemesis. Will shatner might do it as he is pretty much the voice of star trek.

I think all of the major actors and actresses should come back and do voices as their legendary characters.
Obviously Avery Brooks can't do Sisko, as Sisko is in the celestial temple with the Prophets, Unless he's returned to the coporial world, it has been 30 years.... but who knows...
But yeah the legendary voices should be present in this game where possible, that would be another cherry on the cake!
I think Patrick Stewart SHOULD have done the narration for the Gameplay trailer, that would be been much better!

unfortunately the most memorable lines were spoken by people who are now sadly deceased.
and shaterner isn't to far off

So Far As we've all seen the only original cast member to have an involvement is Leonard Nemoy, they definatly need Patrick Steward to do some lines! I think Shatner has aged quite badly, but I don't think he's nearly meeting his maker... I think he's actually quite healthy but he looks like he's doing bad but I just think that's down to him just aging badly
