Please, allow those img-tag to show images in all threads and not only some URLs to that image...
some "language-forums" would be nice :)

My wish is that people who spam the welcome threads with the same copy and paste reply get reprimanded because it's pretty tacky. *cough cough*

One of Cryptic's Community Representatives said that they have disabled images and direct links because of problems that some people had caused with them in the forums. In that discussion I believe the word 'virus' was mentioned several times. Also, the words "that functionality will not be returning to the forum" were definitely used at least once.

If the mods had a problem with me or my courteous and informative welcome posts, they've had plenty of time to do something about it.
You might find it interesting to know that in IRC chat one of the community people explained to me exactly why they haven't asked me to stop posting my welcome message. :D Cheers!
