This is Commander Elfender of the 32nd fleet (of Starfleet Command Series and World of Warcraft fame), We're looking closely at this game as the evolution of our fleet continues toward a new dawn. We are a family friendly guild focusing on players attitude and behavior rather than skill. an example of our codified beliefs are stated on our website, as they are belew.

Honesty, honor and integrity are not words we pay homage to as abstract ideals. We cannot obtain them by trumpeting them across a website. If we are to survive, we must live them in all that we do. They are the unshakable rock upon which we build our house; neither strife nor storm can destroy that rock. We honor the memory of the 32nd who have gone before us by maintaining our commitment to the principles they established. We hold aloft the torch lit from their spark, and remain forever, the Mighty 32nd.

i think it may be a tad early to look for that...the last devs had mentioned the popular designs of Star Trek TNG/DS9/VOY all being used somewhere in the game...im assuming cryptic will do the same..

Man I can't wait to get the USS VIRGINIA out of spacedock and cruise around the galaxy shooting Klingons (I know I used to be the Klingon fad for a time but even then I was still a Fed, it was just a diplomatic assignment when there was some turmoil on Kronos. Still, shooting Klingons is the most fun you can have in a starship) with the mighty 32nd fleet again. I'm currently running a MacBook Pro using Mac OS X Leopard. So I've been unable to attend Admirals meetings on Gamespy. (GSA is not compatible on a mac, perhaps one of my Borg friends could help with that) But, I have been keeping up by reading the yahoo group posts and meeting minutes. I will either buy a PC or install windows on my mac to play this game with the honorable officers of the 32nd when it comes out. I really miss our glory days of SFC, and I hope we can rekindle the excitement when this game is released.

Congratulations to Vulcan by the way... I'm sure you will do great things in your new command. Thank you to Kloz for all his years of good work for the fleet. I can still remember a couple of great battles we had back in the day (one was an hour +, 2v2 duel, me and Roger vs Kloz and ?, one of the most evenly matched battles of all SFC time, we didn't win the match until the darn mirak cruisers finally ran out of missles the other battle was a 1 on 1 where I chased Kloz into a planet, I think the fact that I was crazy enough to chase after a drone chucker caught him off guard).

So did Kloz retire as a Fed, a Mirak, or some kind of weird WoW creature?

General info:

The 2 week SFC3 campaign will begin Friday the 25th of July.

Unity 6 and the campaign is dedicated to a very good friend to the community who we shall all miss deeply, SBO-Dog, may you rest in peace friend.

This is a complete revamp of our past Unity Mods with new ships and longer more balanced battles. The playable races are Fed, Klink, Rom and Borg. Unity 6 is a single download with the 531 patch and (Taldren Authorized) no CD crack included in the Mod, all you will need is a fresh install of the game. Also within the Mods download you will find the info to access the dyna.

Let it be known across all realms of all games and in the real world that the 32nd Fleet is planning a grand gathering to commemorate the Tenth Anniversary of the founding of the fleet.

The location of this gathering will be either Atlantic City, NJ; Las Vegas, NV; or San Antonio, TX. We need input, votes, and volunteers to coordinate for facilities and events at or near each location in order to make a final decision.

Also we need input for a decision on when to hold it. Either in March which is the actual anniversary month or a June to August date.

Being a Federation pilot I understand why you might be intimidated. Do not fear, a Gorn BCH Warship is usually the last image retrieved from most burned out Federation hulls. The 32nd fleet is a non-profit online gaming group that participates in several games. The fleet is run in a military role play style which gives a structure for order and a chain of command in each game that the fleet has a squad in. Over time the games that the fleet participates in have changed but due to the structure that the fleet as a whole is based upon the fleet itself has remained virtually unaffected by changes incurred throughout its existence.

The 32nd fleet uses star trek based ranks for the entire fleet since the Starfleet Command series of online games is where the fleet was born and would remain until the end of the popular series of RTS space combat games. It is this structure and dedication to duty that the Starfleet games engendered, as well as the emphasis on individual character over gaming skill that Fleet Admiral Pippen espoused as the template for an online gaming group that is unlike most others and is why the 32nd fleet has been in existence for almost a decade now.

Another major item that has separated the 32nd fleet from most other online gaming groups is the fact that we have always been a family friendly online environment where foul language and acting in an inappropriate manner are frowned upon and discouraged at all levels. The fleet has rules and a code of conduct that each member has agreed to follow and uphold. This is what helps foster and maintain the order and family friendly environment that we continue to enjoy while playing the online games that we love.

I figured this would be as good a place as any for me to say words for our fallen brother Elder Killer. When last I talked with him, my longtime friend and former squad mate was as psyched about STO as I was. He was looking forward to our return to both space and star trek games. Killer lived honorably, for others, rarely putting himself above anyone else. He was one of the most level headed, compassionate members of the 32nd Fleet, and I regret not knowing how close I lived to him for nearly 4 years, the chance to meet him, now more than ever. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

We were playing a game call Star Fleet Command II back in those days. I had a couple of friends that introduced me to the game, and they were the same friends that involved me in the 32nd Fleet.

I started with the 32nd Fleet flying Klingon ships in SFC2. Klingon ships is what I will continue to fly. This fleet has taught me everything I know about the Star Fleet Command series of games, World of Warcraft, and Eve Online. I have held ranks within and commanded many ranks in more than one squad. I have never found a group of people I like to game wit more than these in the 32nd Fleet.

We have a set of rules and a military structure. This structure keeps us organized and the rules ensure that all games we venture into can be enjoyed by the entire family, while gaming with people in the 32nd Fleet. I've been playing online with these guys since Starfleet Command 1. We moved into SFC2, SFC Orion Pirates, SFC3. THen the fleet moved into WoW. 10 years of gaming later and the 32nd is ready to head back home to Star Trek Online.

I joined the 32nd Fleet in 2001 shortly after the release of SFC2. I found the fleet interesting because at that time the officer that recruited me said he could help me improve my skill in the game by quite a bit and he lived up to that promise getting my skill in the game up high enough I was chosen by the fleet to train the majority of the people who joined the fleet in SFC3 in the ways of the fleet and how to improve game skills.

Some of the things that attracted me to the 32nd Fleet where that the fleet has a star trek (military) style rank structure and chain of command, competition between squads is encouraged, and the fleet offered a group of fun like minded individuals that where fans of star trek.

The 32nd Fleet is looking forward to continuing a fine tradition of star trek based online gaming in STO. The Federation and Klingon factions are now actively looking for new members before the release of STO in February. Almost seven years ago i had the privelege of joining what would be my longest running (non-person to person) gaming group/guild. Prior to the fleet i'd never stuck with a game for more than 6-8 months. But with the fleet, even when the game no longer holds any real intrest, i played for the satisifaction of having my fellow officers and friends to pass the time and reminisce about the days of yore (old to any non-literary types).

Coming from a Hydran Fleet in SFC 1/2 (Honor and Glory to the BDT!), i entered The fleet as a hydran during the SFC 2 days, but had little time to play. I still enjoyed poping up once in a while,. When SFC 3 released i found myself with more time to play, and joined with the Borg Squads until the game fell from popularity.

WoW was a resurgence of the fleet, bringing much needed new blood, aand a new venue to recruit and enjoy as a fleet. Now, we are ready to take a step back into the arena that started it all. STO is a blessing for us, back to trek and space games, we're hoping to bring our somewhat batterd and aged fleet back to it's glory. It is a chance to Bring the new and merge it with the old. From WoW we learned (and are still learning) how to deal in a constant game universe and an mmo setting, as opposed to a game lobby, and from Star Trek gaming in the past with SFC we bring our fleet's honored history and tradition into the era of modern gaming.

But to do that, we need new blood, new officers to blaze forth wearing the 32nd Colors.

Join up and help us blaze away into the stars, claiming worlds for the Federation and Klingon for the GLORY and HONOR of the 32nd Fleet!

Oh well, c'est la vie. For those that don't know me, I am Maximal. I am currently the
most senior active member of The 32nd Fleet going on 10 years soon. In our past SFC
days, I was a devoted pilot of Federation ships. When STO is out though, I plan to
devote myself to The Klingon Imperial Navy.

As a Thrity-Second Fleet member from May 2000 to current, we have been here a long time. As a clan, semi-family, and friend building community. The one part I do know, we grow in respect with new people. This shows a form of things we might not see at the moment.

When we were new, sometimes it seemed hard to figure out at first. Same is with most clans. But most of the time, it was easy. I do remember learning to fly a Klingon ship, and ISC, from a former member... But overall, Thirty second fleet, though we can rant and rave about the, "this squad is going to beat that squad," in good humored fun, we stick together in all. From the SFC days through SWG, WoW, Eve Online, etc. We are still one clan, with some diversity as our people find places they like.

I joined up in December 2000 - that is not a typo...I have been with this same group for almost nine years, during the heady days of Starfleet Command 1 (Anyone remember 300 late no dreds?:D). Some of you may ask yourselves "Why would anyone stay with a bunch of nerdy gamer types for so long?" I joined because of the great people we have here - The piloting was secondary to being a good person. I have stuck with this bunch for the same reason...It's all about having fun.
