Greetings to all!
Starfleet is a dedicated, online role-playing gaming community, commited to providing a fair, competetive and fun environment for people to play the games we love. We operate a militaristic structure, where people can gain rank, genuine authority and respect through skill, merit and good conduct. [SF] has been in consistent operation for nearly a decade, and we have a long and proven history of being respectful, mature and skilled gamers.
Starfleet is adding "Star Trek : Online" to our comprehensive games selection, and we're looking for like-minded gamers to join us in becoming major players in the game. We welcome gamers of all skill levels, from all backgrounds, in all countries; we will provide training where needed, and give you the chance to train where merited. You are not even limited to ST:O, as we encourage interaction in multiple supported games (please see our recruitment poster) - there are numerous ways to shine in Starfleet.
Interested? Come visit us at www.starfleets.st, or our main forums at http://www.starfleets.st/vb/index.php. Like what you see there? A simple application to www.joinsf.com, and an easy oath on our main forums will get you started immediately. Our dedicated Basic Training Staff will give you the initiation, and from there the only limits are what you set yourself. Join today and help defend the Federation!!
Please see our recruitment poster here :- http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj122/tenaka_khan_1981/Recruitment_Adaptcopy-4.jpg
Very Best Regards,

Greetings future STO fans,
I have the distinct honor of serving as chairman of the Council of Admiral's and commanding officer of StarFleet. My name is Fleet Admiral Nelson and I have been in StarFleet for what is close to now 10 years.
StarFleet prides itself in being the oldest existing fleet in the StarTrek community which is... as we all know... soon on its rebirth to our lives.
I welcome you all to visit StarFleet at www.starfleets.st (http://www.starfleets.st)
We also have forums at www.starfleets.st/vb (http://www.starfleets.st/vb)
My xfire (http://www.xfire.com) is sfnelsonsf
My msn (http://www.msn.com) is sf_nelson@hotmail.com
Please contact me with any questions that you may have about StarFleet. I would very much enjoy any one on one conversations with trek fans, trek gamers or anyone interested in StarTrek or Trek Gaming.
Be well and may the stars guide you brightly!

Greetings, fellow Trekkers,
I am Commander Dakroth of StarFleet. I'd just like to reiterate what the two Admirals have stated previously. StarFleet is a wonderful organization to be a part of. We have a rich history within the Star Trek community and a player base of many fantastic individuals. I have been part of the Fleet for a little under a year now, and just from the past eight months, I would never consider leaving this great Fleet for any reason.
Like what Admiral Tenaka mentioned before, we run under a strict and coherent military structure where rank actually means something, and is earned for your hard work and dedication. We take pride in our mature and mannered members. We enforce a reasonably strict code of conduct. You will find few, if any, other gaming communities quite like Starfleet.

Greetings,
I am lieutenant Ash, senior officer on the enterprise.
Just to add to what my superiors said ^^ Starfleet is a military based, good conduct fleet. i joined august 2007 and i would never consider leaving.
We have alot of things to offer in starfleet such as internal jobs such as web team and graphics, there are command posistions aboard the two ships (Enterprise and columbia) and more.
This is the best fleet out there, i would never consider leaving.

Greetings, friends!
I am Commander Bladeron of Starfleet, and I can only begin to tell you the pleasure it's been to serve alongside this impressive and dedicated fleet for a year and a half now. I've been the participant of over a half-dozen groups over the ten years I've been gaming and I have never been as impressed as I have been with Starfleet--it's incredibly organized in a realistic military heirarchy and has, through loyalty and dedication, endured through good times and bad.
What I've loved most is the opportunity I earned to command my ship, the Sovute. She's a beautiful Eximus-Class ship and has served the fleet well during her time. I look forward to bringing her into the ST:O realm as soon as it's possible. Until we meet.

Hello,
I joined Starfleet 2 years ago, and at once fell in love with it. Things were so organized and clean. I've been
having fun ever since. Out of every Fleet/clan I've been in or seen i have never been with one that i've liked so
much. I've been looking forward to this game since the beginning of 2008. And when it comes out i can for
sure tell u that there will be someone online playing it at all times. Live long and Prosper

Amazing stories, gentlemen. And tell me how many of you joined StarFleet while the community was on its downtime? Meaning, there were no constant Trek games coming out and you joined SF playing a different game, but then picked up games from us like Bridge Commander and Elite Force? AND THEN went on to hold membership for one..two years or more?
Believe it or not, we have turned non-trekkers into believers! HAHA Just a small token to our true and devote membership to the StarTrek Gaming Community!

You are still registered as a member of Starfleet, albeit because we hadn't heard from you we assumed you had gone AWOL. It is a simple matter to sort, basically all I need you to do is hop on the forums and send me a PM - I will sort the rest.
Great to hear from you :)

Hello I Have been at SF for about 4 - 5 Months It is a really fun Experience and meet friends you would of never of met before.
The only reason i joined was because one of the SF members were really nice and he asked me to join i accepted and had loads of new friends before i could even realise wat was going on.
SF has been really really since i joined and everyone has helped me in every way they can so you do make friends that way as well.
With Game Play you work more as a team rather then on your own.

With me it was a similar thing...me, not a regular online player, trying out Elite Force 1 for the first time online got myself recruited by a nice and polite member of Starfeet...at first I was sceptical and told the guy, that I will think about it, but then I looked at the homepage and the forum and since I'm a great Star Trek fan I couldn't resist the temptation of a Star Trek RP... again, I'm not a regular player, cause i got a lot of other things to do, but nevertheless I'm a happy member of Starfleet, cause this Fleet has got enough space and jobs for all kinds of players....as you can see, in one year you can rise up in ranks and become lieutanant or even Captain...depends all on dedication! But even being a occasionall player like myself you can be happy in Starfleet and enjoy the company of your crewmates...
ok, that's all I wanted to say...hope it wasn't to boring to read, I just felt like telling you guys what Starfleet is to me! :)

Can I get an hoorah Starfleet!?!
My name is SF Lt. Col. GodofDeath-1, I am the Chief Tactical Officer on the Flagship of Starfleet, the Enterprise. I joined a year ago, looking for a clan that would suit me. I was inducted into Starfleet and have never looked back. I have enjoyed my time with the fleet, which has allowed me to do some amazing things during my time with the fleet. I came in with Command and Conquer 3 and have branched into more games that we support. I have seen how much this fleet supports its people and how well it goes along. Can't wait to see you all in space.
Contact us for any questions, my xfire is shinigami0013.

Hello, i am Crewman TheDarkPenguin, and i joined [SF] in april of this year. I joined through halo for PC, and i didn't really know much of anything about star trek. I thought it was a sequel to star gate! :-P
anyway i have had an awesome time in this fleet and would recommend it to ANYONE that likes star trek, or a large number of other games included, even though the main focus is towards star trek and related games.
i am honored to take part in the posting of representing this fleet, either big or small, because Starfleet has brought me so much knowledge and help with gaming, along with even life issues i have had, and i am happy i found this fleet. :)

Hello all, I am SF_Spr0ckEt. I have been with SF for a while now and I must say, this is the best time that I have had in online gaming. Clans, Fleets, Guilds, are great and I have been in my fair share. This one is, by far, the most fun, and most organized yet! We have, multiple times, had people leave only to return a little while later begging reentry. Obviously that's gotta mean something!
We welcome any and all who wish to stop by, apply, or just say HI!

I am Vice Admiral Damien, i am Starfleet continuous serving officer; I now been with Starfleet for over 8 years. It is a similar story with Fleet Admiral Nelson. We both go along way back and remember the good old days when great games like armada had huge fan base. I and I am sure Nelson are looking forward to seeing the rebirth of StarTrek Gaming with STO.
Do check us out, no other group has a history going so far back, not other group to our knowledge have members the date back as far as we do.
Want to know why people stick with Starfleet, fun, friends and being part of something big.
Looking forward to seeing you all around

Hello everyone! I am SF_CbsNick1, and I have been with SF for a while now and as the others have said, SF has been the best of all my online gaming experiences. I have always been a Trekker, for literally as long as i can remember, ever since my Dad first said "Hey Nick, here's a show you might like" and this was, no lie, when I was four years old or younger. So as I said SF is a great all around experience for any Trekker, and we even support non Star Trek games, such as Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142, and Halo. So I highly suggest that anyone interested should definatly drop by and check us out here. www.starfleets.st

I've been a member of StarFleet for about more then year and i have to say this fleet is composed of really the same ethics that Gene roddenberry based his series on : loyalty, trust, discpline, fellowship humanity and of course the teachings of the prime directive. I love Starfleet with all my heart and i can guarantee you will not feel any remorse in joining [SF] this fleet is purged of all duplicity and pugnacious slanders.

Starfleet is going strong and is looking for a few members to join us!! Seriously, Starfleet is one of the best experiences that I have done in my life. I have been in Starfleet for about a year and 3 months. It has taught me a lot of things that I use in my real life more than just a few times. I wish there were words to say how much I really care for the community. We do a lot of Star Trek related games and do a lot of Star Trek related things. We also offer internal jobs from security to graphics to diplomacy. We have our own teamspeak line and back up that has been one of the greatest things with my experience. So come on by and check it out, www.starfleets.st and www.joinsf.com. If your ready to join, you'll never look back.

Hi all,
I'm Admiral Felix.
(sorry i have registered with Felixmarum, as i noticed a lot of id names have felix in there name)
I'm also a long standing member of Starfleets.
I came to starfleet a long time ago with the game Elite force 1. It was the first game i've played online, and after playing a bit i started looking for a fleet / clan to join. Thanks to google, i found a site with most of the community fleet/clans where put into a database for easy lookup, there i found starfleets. I joined and to make a long story short, i still am. :D
Because of some RL issues i was on extended leave. (work, a baby girl) But i'm hoping to get back to active duty soon. I love and missed this fleet and it's members.
Oh, and i'm one of the EU players within SF. ;)

Hello! This is Ensign Phoenix signing in! I've been with Starfleet for about 7 months now and I've come fresh out of the Starfleet Academy. Starfleet has much to offer. They are professional, respectful and their conduct is incredible. Never have I seen a clan/fleet conduct itself in such a manor. I believe that if you are looking for a place where you will be supported regardless of who you are, Starfleet is the place to go.
I joined Starfleet after my own clan, Starfleet: Project Sign collapsed. The result left me sort of vulnerable in a way and lost. However, I immediately sought out another clan to join. To suddenly go from Fleet Admiral of a clan to nothing in a day is truly humbling. How did I find Starfleet you ask? Well, I didn't find them in a game. I actually went looking for them on google.com as I'd remembered hearing about them; I even made diplomatic contact with them when Project Sign was still alive. They took me in that same day, and I received the rank of Crewman Recruit. I passed my basic training, and the rest as they say is history :D.
When STO is released, we will definitely be opening our doors to new recruits. Come visit us on the web at http://starfleets.st and see what we're all about! :D

Greetings!
Starfleet is welcoming a new upsurge in Star Trek Community activity following the success of the new film. Many have decided to join the Fleet, and it's evident that this will form the beginning of a new long-term period of growth and gaming. We have some very talented individuals playing games with us now and contributing to Starfleet as a whole, we invite you to do the same.
We also have a scheduled programme of new game support in the coming months, not least of which in Battlefield Heroes, Battlefield 1943 and Starfleet DAC. If you have an interest in any of these titles we welcome you to join our Fleet and build a career with us.
As always I welcome any questions you may have, and you may visit us directly using the links in my signature. Make the best decision of your gaming days, and come see us, I guarantee you will not regret it!

Greetings to all Trek fans!
I am Ensign Lahuie stationed on the USS Columbia. I am dedicated member of the honorable StarFleet. We support the Star Trek universe greatly and would welcome any trekkers wanting to join. We are a mid-level role-playing fleet with a great sense of overall inclusion and welcoming. The pros and cons of StarFleet:
Pros
- everybody is friendly
-star trek based for those who love star trek
-great fun
Cons
-I actually have to sleep and I can't be on StarFleet 24/7
I still remember when I was first accepted into the fleet. I am still friends with my basic trainer who introduced me to the fleet and I guarantee you that you will make good friends too. I did lose interest when I was still a new member and I didn't log on for a few months. But after a while I remembered StarFleet and I was just drawn back in because I remembered how great the fleet was. I have had tons of fun here in StarFleet and I am glad I joined. Feel free to contact us on any questions or info you have on StarFleet!
Live Long and Prosper,

Greeting's Everyone,
I am Crewman Apprentice Gansosindicato1 aboard the U.S.S Columbia. First I would like to state that I Joined SF almost 3 years ago. I was privileged enough to have been accepted into Starfleet's Academy, Not once but Three different times. I did have many screw ups while in Starfleet but as a fleet they have helped me to become a better gamer, and overall person. During my career in Starfleet I held multiple command positions, Squads, Operations Officer of The U.S.S Enterprise, Battalions. I've had the privilege to have been in multiple departments in Starfleet. She has blessed me greatly and has improved alot of my skills. Those including Graphical Art, Website Creation and Design, and Diplomacy. I was also able, after a few trys to make it all the way up to the Rank of Ensign before having to Resign from Starfleet. It hurt me greatly having to do such a thing because I still knew, Starfleet was where I belonged. After Resigning Starfleet council allowed me to stay on their forums and keep up on what Starfleet was doing. Then about 2 weeks ago, Admiral Nelson posted an announcement allowing for "2nd Career Applications" meaning he was giving Ex SF members a chance to rejoin. I seized the chance to finally get back into the Fleet I once loved and still love to this day. Now I am a happy member of quite possibly the best Military based, Good Conduct fleets in the gaming community today. If you have never experienced a Military rank based Fleet, I suggest you look into Starfleet for who knows, You might find what you have been looking for all along.
Farewell,

Hello STO community,
My name is Captain Stryker. I am the commanding officer of the flag ship for Starfleet, the U.S.S. Enterprise. I have been involved with Starfleet, and the Star Trek community for about six years now. I started off playing Klingon Academy, then went to SFC 3, Armada 1 and 2, Bridge Commander, and Legacy. I am very excited for the release of STO, and the revitalization of the Star Trek community. I have greatly enjoyed my time at Starfleet. The camaraderie that is built and maintained is like that of what is gained when doing real life service in the military. We are all friends and family.
Now that the personal introduction is done. Over at starfleet (www.starfleets.st/vb) we have just had our October round of promotions. I want to congratulate all of those that were promoted and/or received commendations.
Starfleet is actively recruiting for members at this time. If you are interested, or would just like more information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I actually know who you are, or at least I know of you I should probably say. It is kinda funny to hear someone call me a youngster... lol The really interesting part is that in the current fleet I am considered one of the old timers. You would be considered ancient... :) It is great to see you still hanging around the Trek community though. You should stop by the forums and say hi. If you have not done so lately, you may be quite impressed with what has been done with the place.

Since we all know now when we will be able to take to the stars with STO, I would like to ask everyone what class they think they will start out as. Personally I have been torn between Tactical and Engineering. Tactical has always been my "cup of tea", but I really want to have a Galaxy class ship ( which is an Engineering ship). I hope Cryptic releases additional info about all the ships, i.e. customizing options, types of stations, station customizing etc... That may help in my decision. What is everyone's thoughts?

As of now my computer can take the game, just my processor is lagging a bit behind. Only a 2.0ghz Dual. Soon I'm looking to by a new Quad Core running 3.2 ghz, another 4 GB of Ram, a Radeon 4890x2 Graphics card and a Western Digital Velociraptor 300gb HDD running 10,000 RPM :) That would definetly play the game.
As for my Ship, I've always loved the Nova which is a Science Vessel, but I also love the Vigilante. I'm torn between those two. Possibly even the Discovery Class as well, that's another beautiful ship.

I think I better introduce myself to these forums, bit over due.
Hello, I'm Lt. Cmdr. Arrola, I've been with Starfleet for around about 6 years now. I first joined back in 2001, I think (been a long time, know that much). Klingon Academy was the game that got me first involved with the fleet, but it wasn't long before I found myself joining the Elite Forces division within [SF] and found myself under the command of 1 Capt Nelson, who even 2 this very day, still manages make me look like an untrained monkey and the helm of a starship, in just about ever ST game going.
I did leave for a while, due to irl stuff, but these guys never left me heart. Just can't walk away from this fleet, it's been 1 of the closest communities I've ever had the pleasure to be involved in, and just love spending whatever free time I have chatting and gaming with some of the closest online friends I have.
I would recommend this fleet to anyone how wants to be involved with a close, organised, well-manned and friendly community such as this. I am forever making new friends and still have old 1's to go with.
I Love It!!!!!!

People speculate that high end single core processor should still run it. I would say give it a try on your system to see if it works and if not then upgrade :)

Well not to sure if you would consider it fun, but I am spending my weekend finishing up the set for the play that I am in. The play is called "It's a Wonderful Life". It is an old movie screen play from the 1940's with Jimmy Stewart. Good movie if you haven't seen in. Anyways we open next week, so have to get that set finished.

Hello I'm Chief Petty Officer Smash
I enlisted in StarFleet in January of 2009 and have enjoyed everyday of it. I am now the Operations Officer of the USS Valiant. When I first joined StarFleet I didn't think I'd be a member for very long as I was not a trekkie. But now almost 11 months later I try and think of why I hadn't joined earlier. The fleet is a great thing to be part of at any hour of the day you will find at least someone gaming. The other members of StarFleet are very helpful and the fleet is all around just fun to be a part of. In all I'm just proud of the fleet that I have become a part of and can see this fleet continuing on for many years on.

Good morning to you too sir. Yes, well I don't know what you meant but Christmas in 3 days! Yay! :D ! I went shopping the whole day yesterday to buy gifts. Just finished putting up indoor decor but outdoor I'll finish tomorrow. Yeah it's rushed, but at least I still put some stuff up. :p

Hey O, StarFleet, Happy Holidays. I signed up and submitted my oath. After the holidays are up I will look forward to joining the Fleet. i am a big Fan of Star Trek like the rest of you here I hope to be fighting and exploring side by side by you here at StarFleet. I am a big team player and now that we are just a few short weeks before the beta is here and then Pre Start I am gearing up for it and ready to get my training done and meet the team. So until StarFleet HQ is open for business again...Happy Holidays and we will see yall laters!
edit: I looked threw all the other fleets and out of all the other Groups I have to say you here at StarFleet had the best site, allot of members, rules, and a solid structure anybody like me would like. I would be honored to be apart of StarFleet and I would hope one day the same would be said about StarFleet knowing me one day and I will work/play so to make sure it will be so. But as long as we have fun and enjoy each others friendship then either way I think we all will enjoy the game and being in this Fleet.
I am an Xbox 360 gamer but play MMO's like Final Fantasy(I know I know...lol) and of course WoW, but have been looking forward to ST:O since P2E had it before Cryptic took it over and made it AWESOME. I am not a selfcentered player. I am a HUGE team player and support my team and rep it to the fullest like no other. I am apart of a Clan/Family on the 360 called S.W.A.T. and have been together for over 5 years in fact 2 months after Xbox Live started we have been together, but we are no longer competitive and just game together daily, but will in no way interfere with my Fleet role since I like allot of my comrades on the Xbox are getting tired of the same ole same ole on the Xbox and mix this with me following and longing for this game to come out then you have a huge player with a heart for team work, support, and a possible life long friend type of person. I pre ordered my ST:O copy the same day it was available at Gamestop and paid for overnight shipment and now I am waiting on my beta key like the rest of some of you so I am gearing up for this game in a major way. I didnt get anything other than the simple plain game with no bells and whistles except the old NCC 1701 from TOS and of course Beta and Pre Start program due to the fact I am sure like all the other MMO's the exclusive content like uniforms and red matter collector will be available later in the game and so the DEVs have said might happen as well so I felt like I only needed the Plain Jane Game(say that 100 times fast!), this is just for yalls(yes I am country, from Georgia) F.Y.I. for any type of consideration or placement after any consideration for my application to StarFleet is approved, if at all. I was a member apart of another Fleet that splintered off to make another Fleet cause of Drama and lack of structure. This was so long ago though, but I hate drama and love structure cause you can appreciate it better and way more effective and all. So do not think I am not loyal. I just had to walk away before I got tossed back into the drama we all walked away from at that time. I also tell you this incase any drama find or remembers my name. But like I said I hate Drama so I will leave THEIR names(Fleet and etc.) out of it and know I will ignore drama before I answer to it. i do wish all them the best of luck and hold no ill will toward any of them, by the way. So no drama here just want to have fun, and if the Fleet I join or accepted into, is easy going and want to have fun then I want to be there. Of course you got to have the structure like you here at StarFleet has. This all might have been to much for the ST:O forums but I wanted to fill yall in and introduce myself at the same time.
I play Star Trek Bridge Commander w/Kobyashi Maru MOD offline only since I hate cheating , modding, or glitching, and I play it daily along with Star Trek Legacy for the 360. I play CoD6:MW2 with my S.W.A.T. family and any other shooters(Operation Flashpoint 2 DR, other CoD games, Ghost Recon or GRAW as it is known on the 360, Rainbow 6, etc.) and of course ARMA2 and Americas Army 2 and 3 for the pc and have been known to play ...wait for it and dont laugh...The Sims 3, I said dont laugh! So I am versed in Console AND PC games and not a newb to either. I would like to get this for the 360 if and when it comes to the console systems like they had stated early in development. If they do my Fam usually tries anything I am doing just like I do the same for them and with that said we could maybe have a SRT/S.W.A.T. type Task Force inside StarFleet(if accepted of course) a section 31 if you will...but first I got to get accepted of course and AND ST:O would have to come to the the 360 since allot of my S.W.A.T. Fam dont have PCs and that is why they play the 360. Of course I have been hyping this game up since it got a REAL release date ande some have joked about getting it on thier PC's and those without are wanting a PC anyways and said they would try it if they can get a PC cause like I said we are just getting tired of the same ole same ole on the Xbox.
Again, I hope I didnt say to much here but at the same time I hope I gave a good introduction of myself and I will look forward to talking with yall after the Holidays. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year StarFleet!
Feel free to view my profile: http://www.stogeek.com/wiki/User:D.STEEL
and I am open to any suggestions, changes, or edits. If I am accepted at StarFleet then it will definitely change and reflect my status and Fleet.

Evening SF, evening STO.
Welcome D.STEEL! It's good to have you with us here in SF. I'm sure an admissions officer will be with you shortly to sort out your oath and whatnot, but in this busy holiday season, your patience would be greatly appreciated.

what another halo is coming out? i saw another type of Halo was in the making...I am not a "Halo" player...more a Ghost Recon or at best call Of Booty, i mean Call of Duty and i play more Search and Destroy than any other type of game mode. But I know Halo still got a following. Just thought most Halo fans went to Call of...Duty.

Deserters! Noooooo! Lol. No I just meant I'm gonna be up till like 3 in the morning playing Halo. But yes, they're making another one. Halo Reach. Call of Duty is a good game but still like Halo more. And GRAW 2 is fantastic as well.

Yeah I like the games where you got to think stuff out and use your head and maybe a little sneaky stuff like distract and evade and stuff. When I played GRAW/Ghost Recon I played Siege and Blind Siege which if you never played it, it is like Last Man Standing with an Objective where Last Man Standing is like Hide and Seek and stuff. When you have an objective they have to come to you or you go to them and NO RESPANWS is way better for me since I like the pressure of being the last guy left and having to try to pull off a victory for me my team and it does suck if I cant pull it off but it doesnt change the adrenaline rush from it. RESPAWNS lead to Spawn Camping and that just blows my high!
But at least you got a game to look forward to other than ST:O I personally cant wait for Splinter Cell Conviction, but I am more a team based type of gamer so with that said i dont have nothing left but ST:O. So that brings me back to here---> X
..although I hear Medal of Honor has a Modern Combat game coming out that they say is like COD but with no perks in March 2011!
BRING BACK GHOST RECON! almost 4 years after GRAW2 and no answer to all these other shooter games coming out! Goes to show you cant rely on the French, dang Ubisoft!

Yeah, there was rumor of GRAW 3, but nothing yet. Then again, there's always rumors of a sequel. I didn't like Medal of Honor before though so we'll see. STO though! YEAH!!! Hopefully can get it.
