Jump in, say hello, and introduce yourself!
I'm 38, live in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the US. Been a scifi and trek fan all of my life, and am now a MMO fan as well - so having the two worlds meet, even after it's false start, is a dream come true!

-KyrosI'm 22, used to live in Tulsa, Oklahoma (now living in the Pacific Northwest), and been a fan of Star Trek for years. I seem to have a thing for station-based series, though, because DS9 is my favorite and I have to admit that Babylon 5 tops Star Trek as my favorite sci-fi series. Just recently got into MMOs in late 2006 (I'm a recovering World of WarCraft addict and tried my hand at EVE Online for a few weeks).
Anyway, looking forward to cruisin' the cosmos with the rest of you. :D

I'm 17 and live in Southern California, U.S. I have been playing MMOs for years and RPing for just as long. I used to play SWG heavily and have played all of the major MMOs at least to some extent. I was a ST-O.net refugee but was invited into Lotus Fleet right before the ball dropped and that's where I've stayed. I've always been a Trekker at heart but just recently realized that. Before, it was always Star Wars, but now that spot in my heart is being taken over by Trek; although I do still enjoy a lightsaber now and again.
Well that's enough babbling from me. I Hope to see all of you in-game real soon. (That has an eerie echo to it. Almost like I've done this before... :p)

I'm 20 years old, born in England and raised in California. Now I'm living in San Francisco, and I've been here ever since. I'm currently working a nasty, grim but decent paying job in cleaning and trying to get extra parts in as many films as I possibly can, hopefully working towards something bigger. Even though I'm sneaking into the local colledge for acting lessons, I'm learning quite a bit and tend to hit a theatre soon.
My past times include gaming, crayon drawings, hot pockets, and striking poses in the mirror. When I was a child, my mum and grandmum were heavy trekkies, and I've picked it up since then. I was heavy into MMOs since 98, but quit recently due to the realization that MMOs hardly seem real compared to today's next gen video games. Hopefully Star Trek Online will be different, and I'm definitely looking forward to this upcoming title.

I don't know, Jay, but I agree that this belongs in another forum. I took advice from that Goat guy here on the forums and decided to use my necromantic powers to restore this old topic I found in the back of the board. Aren't I special? :D

It is funny how old it is and yet so few replies...guess aside from being in the wrong spot people did not feel like playing along....why does this amuse me?

It's because, at that time, a thread created at 10am would be on page 3 by noon.

has it emptied here since then? i only joined about a month ago...
then again, i can see why people have gone on, there is activity with sto, but i guess not enough to bring hordes of the peeps around...
oh well, by that time, we'll all be forum veterans, and they shall have to bow down to our godly rhetoric...

It ebbs and flows from my perspective. I have been around before I signed up...and take breaks....mostly I read and do not reply. That and there is rarely an original post anymore....not that I personally mind, but it does discourage posting to a degree (or can).
