CO fans are already talking about leaving for DCU. Not sure what they were thinking. They should of just left the timer off of the CO site.

I don't really know what you're getting at with that comment....it's not like Cryptic just sprung this on us. We've known from day 1 that they've been developing not just CO, but 2 other MMOs.
I do find it funny that there is complaining within 5 minutes of the game being announced.
I laughed...then I weeped.
ps. I really hope your comment was supposed to be tounge-in-cheek...if so disregard what I said :p

Check the CO forums, people are ****ed lol.
Bunch of them convinced themselves, despite the fact the countdown clock was over a piece of startrek online concept art, that the countdown was for open beta or closed beta or whatever for that other little hero game cryptic is making (never heard of it :P). How can you convince people that "want to believe" in something clearly wrong that they are wrong? you cant. Much Erage and drama to follow.

Part of the problem is that people didn't want to listen when everyone told them the art behind the counter was for Star Trek Online.
It is their fault if they simply didn't want to acknowledge the truth.

I agree. People are overreacting and acting like babies. Cryptic announced a Cryptic game on a Cryptic website, thats all there is to it. If you fooled yourself into assuming it was one thing or another and were wrong and are now so disappointed that you're going to protest CO by going to DCU, by all means go.
At least, thats how I feel. :)

'sigh' Oh well.
People need to learn to grow up.
They should be excited to find out that Cryptic revieled one of their secret projects, and stop whining because they didnt get the info that they were expecting.

I don't know if you've looked in the past 29 minutes, but this site is about Star Trek Online.
Again, as I said in your other spam thread, I don't know about anyone else, but I couldn't care less about you or CO.
Have a nice day!

As if the big "Meanwhile...." wasn't enough indication that the announcement wasn't for CO? Seriously dude, toughen up. Companies cross-promote things all the time, and the mere fact there are people ON this forum to see the *****ing means that it worked, at least in part.

Um I have no spam thread, let alone another thread. So who do you think I am?

No they're not. CO fans are looking forward to another super hero MMO. Just look on the forums. In fact more people have been unimpressed with DCO than have been impressed according to the CO forum posts.
What are you smoking? bananas?
Stop talking rubbish.

I would chime in here with something snarky but getting banned an hour after the site went live, while although an acomplishment, is not one i want on my service record.

Yeah DCO looks like a joke...not even considering playing that. I'm currently a subscriber to CoH/CoV and looking forward to CO.

People actually thought the countdown was for a CO beta? lmao
Anyways, for those that seem to feel the need to protest the fact that STO is also a Cryptic child by leaving CO and going to DCU, by all means leave. I'm so tired of hearing people complain about stuff like this.
I think STO and CO will be a great combo by Cryptic. Keep up the good work.

No, those of us who bothered to do some research instead of just wishing knew it was for STO. (To which I say, Good! I'm a ST fan since I watched TOS in diapers.)
There's just a lot of people who apparently thought that anything that appears on the CO page must have something to do with CO, despite evidence to the contrary.

This thread isn't going to do any good for either game, so I'm going to close it.
