I was pretty sure that was what it was about, but I came from the ChampO forums where the counter thread went nuts. It seemed like a good joke to follow on from :-)

I'm in agreement with some of the others. I think it'd be likely that the timer is the countdown to the game footage. Hopefully as exciting as the anticipation has been building for me for the past day. :)

It could very well be both. At the moment, it's pretty obvious the timer coincides with the Star Trek convention and the footage release. However, based on some teasing remarks by Katalyst on the CO forums they may announce the CO beta sign-ups too.

However, this timer isn't showing up on the Cryptic site or the CO one so I wouldn't get my hopes up on that just yet. :rolleyes:

Everytime I log onto the Star Trek site, the countdown says 13 days 13 hours 2 minutes 34 seconds. No matter how long I wait and then refresh the page it goes back to the same time... is this everyone else or just me?

I agree Timer is for their upcoming announcements at the Las Vegas convention. And though I can not confirm or deny anything; I would expect to see more than a few surprises and updates at the convention. :cool: Tell Spoc, I said Hey! My butt will be stuck at home watching the webcast, instead of there where I wanna be. :(

I am personally happy to be here and I wait with bated breath at any and all anouncements. I held off doing another online game so that I could put all of my efforts in this one. I am going to jump in the game and just have a great time. I hope it will be worth all of my wait
