Will we be able to go to the planet in the movie that the alien entity or "God" was on that needed a star ship? What about getting a piece of the action planet that was old 30's style mobsters, or the planert of Landrew? Will we be able to visit famoused locals that where in movies/series?

Star Trek V (the god one) is the worst of the bunch imo. What a lame story. No reason at all to spend the development time putting anything related to this film in game.

In all likelyhood, Starfleet would have forbidden any travel to that planet after the run-in with that alien.

Well lets think about this....ahhh NO!
Actually I wouldnt put it past them to turn as many of the Star Trek episodes into in game PvE mission.
According to several post and videos, there will be time travel etc etc. All the series and movies are to be used as canonic law. This is a good thing in one aspect. Because Tribbles are extinct!!!

i really hope not. That movie was worse than generations.
But as for the gangster in the 30's. Oh i really hope so, There are alot of episodes that dabble in that time era.

Yeah that movie did blow pretty bad. I am so glad that they did "Undiscovered Country" let the original actors go out with dignity.

Star Trek 5 was not well received. That's the nice way of saying almost nobody liked it. I hope and pray that in a decision between coding that planet and tribbles, that I get my furry phaser practice targets.

5 was the worst of the movies.
I could definitely live without a mission that has me visiting Sha-Ka-Ree.

i wouldnt mind going to that planet, just another thing to make go boom.besides,it might be fun to fight a punished "Q".while i may not be able to fully kill the big blue guy, each time he pops up, fire a couple photons at him.

I know I don't have much company but I always kinda liked Star trek V. It isn't my favorite but it isn't the worst either. It's around hte middle for me.
Besides. Didn't "God" Get a face full of klingon Disruptors and get blown into subatomic particles?
That aside. It'll be interesting to see if some of the planets TOS visted are stilla round. Heck see how they evolved.

actually 5 is one of my favorites, i know, ur gonna say i crazy. if u look at the whole film, it sucks. but there were so many great funny moments in 5. sulu and checkov (the best flight team in the fleet) get lost in yosemite, the row-row-row ur boat song, the jail break, scotty wacking his head on the bulk head, the whole movie was the original cast making fun of them selves.
and from that POV, its one of the funniest movies!!

What's really intersting is when you get into the production notes for the movie. What was supposed to happen at the end and what they ended up having to settle with. I thought V really went back to some of the oddd shows we had. Such as tghe one where they visited Apollo or where Abraham Lincoln was fighting with Kirk.
The only real huge failing for V was it would ahve made an awesome show but wasn't quite up to siler screen quality. Although as compared to Insurection, TMP, or Generations...

It was funny. But mostly because of the horror of the laughing vulcan. Just thinking about Sybok gives me the heebie-jeebies yet.

Unlikely. That's in the galactic core, beyond the inner Barrier, something that is likely forbidden travel wise. They don't really touch on the Barriers in the shows and it's likely that we'll have enough to deal with in the Galaxy without having to go beyond that.

I hated that movie. The Sybok/Spock relationship had potential, but they ruined it with an incredibly lame main plot.

It was in the Q trilofy. Q-Zone, Q-Strke and, Q-Idon'tremember
And "God" wasn't 0. "God" was one of 0's friends. He was acompanied by the being that possessed Nomad (I think) and That being which gave those kids power in the origional series. I can't remember his name.
"Gods" punishment for what he had done was the Q's removed all of his body except his head and placed him in teh center of the universe.

Q squared.the one with a enterprise security team headed by worf vs Winny the pooh and friends.:D
I always liked Star Trek V myself. Sure it wasn't the greatest plot but I always liked the fact it included alot of "little" things. Like use of the shuttlecraft and the shuttle bay on the refit connie. The Starfleet ground assault uniforms with the ammo pouches. Spock in the gunnery chair of a Klingon Bird of Prey and a Romulan chick with an awesomely bizarre hat. Whats not to love :D
