Way to go Devs, another fail on your part.

I can't believe that when I beam down to a planet, I actually SEE my character and eveything that's going on around her!! To me, this just makes the feel of the game seem more... how shall I put it... NOT REAL.

I don't want to see my character from a 3rd person view. I want to be actually inside the head of my character, inside teh BRAIN.

Two circular visual optics is all I get to see in a very small defined space, just like in real life. I can't see what's behind me unless I turn around.

On that note, to turn around, I click on these little impulse and nerve endings inside the brain that allow me to turn my character around, and I also see those nerve messages being sent out and relayed to other nervers that move the muscle in the leg, pump more blood to it... oop, I see we don't have enough oxygen in the lungs, let me just fire another impulse nerve for my character to breath, so I can have more oxygen flow to get that leg to turn around.

WHEW!! Now that's what I"m talking about! That's what I and I'm sure many many others want here. We need interiors because they just enhance the game that much more... to know that I truely AM controlling my own character... THROUGH HER BRAIN.. @_@

There's so many posts out there, where people are seriously asking for the most stupid requests for this game. Makes me laugh really. "OMG i can't believe I get to customize my character so much, it'll be way too many options, I want all of my bridge officers to look exactly the same!"

I think cryptic is doing a great job, maybe the klingons will be a little PVE Lite, maybe ground combat will be a little stiff. But thats the thing it is a game, and they have a lot of decisions to make on how to approach it, you can't please everyone all the time.

YEA! Cool. Thanks for spitting on the whole interior issue. Cryptic has even said they would like to add them. Making it out to be ridiculous doesnt help. Because its not.

Most of the shows, movies, etc took place inside the ship. The game is fine without it. Functional interiors would however add a lot of depth.

Its not a silly concept, and if you are making fun of those wanting it, then you're making fun of Cryptic as well for stating they are very interested in implementing it.

CO has a 1st person view, howver a brain view is not included, nor can you control the brain of you avatar using your own brian directly. You have to stick with useless 21st century techno-garbage, which requires you to flail your limbs about in a not very elequent way!

First person is an extremely popular virtual viewpoint, and is the basis for countless successful games. Not to mention being one of the traditional founding tenets of an entire genre of entertainment- simulation. Also missing is the fact that most games worth their salt which offer the popular first person view also allow the player to toggle to the third person perspective when they feel like it.

Way to go Devs, another fail on your part.

I can't believe that when I beam down to a planet, I actually SEE my character and eveything that's going on around her!! To me, this just makes the feel of the game seem more... how shall I put it... NOT REAL.

I don't want to see my character from a 3rd person view. I want to be actually inside the head of my character, inside teh BRAIN.

Two circular visual optics is all I get to see in a very small defined space, just like in real life. I can't see what's behind me unless I turn around.

On that note, to turn around, I click on these little impulse and nerve endings inside the brain that allow me to turn my character around, and I also see those nerve messages being sent out and relayed to other nervers that move the muscle in the leg, pump more blood to it... oop, I see we don't have enough oxygen in the lungs, let me just fire another impulse nerve for my character to breath, so I can have more oxygen flow to get that leg to turn around.

WHEW!! Now that's what I"m talking about! That's what I and I'm sure many many others want here. We need interiors because they just enhance the game that much more... to know that I truely AM controlling my own character... THROUGH HER BRAIN.. @_@

We would like to further the demands of this group of people by adding to the list of their demands our own demand.

We demand that during ground combat when you weaken an enemy player we should be able to launch a viral boarding party by sneezing in their general direction. We would then be able to lead the boarding party by taking control of the Commander germ.

When we're inside the enemy player we can fight our way to any of their major organs and sabotage them causing serious damage!

Alternatively we should be able to fight to the brain where we could then take control of the player adding them to our own party as a pet.

If you want first person view, then Cryptic might as well delay launch date another year and make the entire ground portion a FPS like CoD or Elite Force. I actually am disappointed with what I've seen in the ground portion of the game and definitely don't mind a complete change (but I'm still judging too early as I haven't played).

Just to add something to this, SWG had both views as a option and it was as easy as using the middle scroll button to change between the views.

its the same in CO just use middle mouse wheel to scroll into 1st person. I like 3rd person because I tend to get motion sickness in 1st person view.

The issue of scrolling your mouse wheel in on SWG was for the smaller fighter craft’s cockpits and yes that did work.

However, for the larger multiple passenger ships like the yachts and such you could not just scroll you mouse wheel in and go to the interior view. You had to basically “zone into and zone out of” the interior/exterior portions of the ship.

Once you were able to zone into the interior of the ship, you could then move around the ship and even decorate the ship and if you were in a group your group could also be on the ship with you. This is what people are asking for with being able to get to the interior of the STO ships.

While zoned in to the interior of an SWG ship, the ship was stationary and you could not control anything the ship did in space it just sat there and if another ship started attacking you had to return to the pilot seat to zone out and be able to maneuver the ship or fight back.

Interior views would be a big mistake, when they did interior views too much on 'blah, blah' series it ruined the feeling of interior views.

I want interior views to feel more like being inside, thats when it was the best. Plus, they cant make interior views really and truly inside, I mean we could never really be inside while playing the game...so it makes no sense.

Other games have tried interior views and got it wrong, they just made interiors less 'inside", so STO will get interiors wrong too.

Just no to interior views, we should never have interior views.
