an open beta yes, after closed beta...which wont end for possibly 4 months or so from now...a demo however is highly unlikely.

Might not be as unlikely as you think. They could release what they have been showcasing at the expos like PAX as a demo. Basically a short little mission with the space battle, then beaming down to the planet. So, you get a bit of a feel for the game. I think that is highly likely to be honest. An non-online demo.
As for the Open Beta...yeah, that will come after the closed beta. I would say around Febuary/Early March 2010.

Personally, I think a Q1 prediction was...optimistic. Im betting on a Q2 release for the game.

I like the sound of that, and I hope cryptic does it...but alot of people will be downloading it and it could turn out to be more trouble for Cryptic than its worth.

Because Open Beta norm happens about 2 weeks before the game launchs.
