Will there be classic ships available latter on? My favorite ship of all time is the D7 Klingon Battle Cruiser and I hope that it will be in the game (or equivalent since several Klingon ships used the D7 hull design!)

I think you might get a D7 as a starter ship when playing the klingons though. Im not sure, but there has been discussion on it.

Well the Miranda and Constitution will be in game, so I would hope we will see the D7 as well.

D7 is confirmed in. In fact almost every canonical ship is in STO. You even got Raptors and Romulan BoPs from the Enterprise Era.
What's not playabe, could very well be encountered during travels and time-travel. Like running into the Kelvin-type (hypothetical) or the NX-01.
