No new screens or Paths?

I know it's beta and there are more imprtant things the devs are worrying about, but there are still people here. Poping in and out t see if there are any more updates, screens or even more Paths to 2409. At least post something for those who are still waiting to get into beta and waiting for the release of the game. All those posts about interviews and people trying the game at Eurogamer tends to get a little dry after a while.

Would be nice to have those discussions of player progression or maybe a new topic. Maybe a new ship of the line or just a plain old screenshot. Just please dont keep us hanging here!!

An update to the ships of the line (actually finishing the Fed side would at least be a start). If screen shots are posted on OTHER web sites Im amazed they're not posted here. That makes absolutely no sense at all.

What we want is the website to be maintained and updated regularly. Its what most MMOs that have a website do. The videos really need to be posted here. The screen shots are great to give out to other sites, but they should be here too. Every portion of this site should be kept up with and maintained. So far that doesnt seem like the case really.

We are effectivley doing their work for them. Many people seem to find all this info and post it here in the forums long before it ever, if at all, goes up on the main site.

Its like a forum member scavenger hunt.
Lots of interviews and screenshots are found by forum members and posted, same for new videos and trailers are found and posted before they are put on the main site.

Get to searching you all! Who knows how much more info is out there that we havent even seen? :)

The two paths vids were just cursory overviews of the Path to 2409 and not the "finished product". I expect that by the end of November beginning of December they will start up again and flesh out what was talked about in the two vids.

i agree, and btw...nice pic firefly one of my fav shows ever went long before its time, anyway back on course, i have seen many screens on other websites and a couple vids (that arent on this website) they should be here first :P

They certainly didn't finish the path at all, those videos were just quickly thrown together to catch everyone up in a very general sense, and to please us with new footage, but there are still a tonne of open ends to tie up from the Path To articles. They really ought to continue and finish them :(

I'd hardly credit those videos with finishing up the Path to 2409. Not in light of how they did all of them up to 2392.

Agreed, the video's were great, but the path to 2409 entries were informative and very entertaining. I could have used a few more interviews or personal logs.

Maybe all the empty webspace is because they are WAY to
o busy adding content and fixing Beta issues! Silence is not golden here, progress notes and all are good things to hear....builds consumer confidence and all the fans get happy and hype gets hotter....get it?

But,I agree with the OP. Some screenshots from the Beta(and I don't meen leaked footage)would be awesome. I would love to see a skill tree,and the astrometric map of the alpha quadrant would be very nice

Previous MMO's (I bet they love that line) utilized things such as Beta screenshot of the day, snippets of test comments, etc...

The goal of the company is to attract and maintain customers. You don't do this in a vacuum and you don't do this by having potential customers doing all the digging. That may keep those who have been hanging around awhile, but it wont attract new people.

What I don't like here is the lack of any update of the website on the media and in the universe area, I know, they have give us a lot of other things, but they have a lot of screenshot that they give to other sites as exclusives, but after a week, they are not exclusive anymore, so why don't they put them on the site?
Seriously, if I don't know anything about I game, I go to that game website and expect to see all the info and media available there.

There are screen shots showing up all over the net but yeah, the one thing that I really, really want is a new Ship of the Line. One of the higher level cruisers I hope.
