Will he be voicing any of the characters or even Captain Picard? I know that he does voice work in Oblivion.

I love TGN.

Far as we know, there is no Voice Acting involved with STO. :(

Hopefully later on with some updates they may add some voice acting.

Im sure there will be some random background voice acting for general interactions, but nothing like what SW:TOR has or anything pertaining to missions.

Hmmm.... Patrick Stewart saying "We have to shut down ALL those beacons" over and over.....

Not sure if that'd be cool or not.

Considering the time period of STO, Picard is more than likely dead or riding around in an Xavier style chair hooked up to life support.

Or he could just say, "THERE ARE FOUR LIGHTS!" over and over

Picard Facepalm...

First, Picard got younger during the insurrection incident...
Second Mcoy appeared in TNG and was still able to walk without help, and he was much older than Picard would be in STO

no, better yet, in the tutporial when you finish, but before you pick your ship, have him say "To the finest Crew in Starfleet!" Over and over >>

First, Picard got younger during the insurrection incident...

By a few years at best, you act like hes 21 again, he'd still be pushing late 80's...just silly.

Second Mcoy appeared in TNG and was still able to walk without help, and he was much older than Picard would be in STO

He was trapped in a transport buffer where you don't age and makes your point moot.

Mozcol you are thinking of Scotty being trapped in the transporter. The 1st TNG episode had Dr. McCoy as an incredibly geriatric Admiral being walked through the corridors of the Enterprise D by Data.

I believe McCoy was supposed to be 135 or 140... can't remember exactly.

Mc'Coy and Scotty both appeared in TNG

Yes in while Picard and his crew were in the Briar Patch they did get "younger".

But I thought once they left the effects would wear off?

Personally, I'm hoping not to have any interaction with a Picard NPC, simply because I feel it should be criminal to reduce such a great character to a mindless automaton (as I have seen Darth Vader become in SWG, as well as countless characters in LotRO).
That being said, I think it would be great to have him do a prologue for an intro cinematic. He, or John de Lancie.

It was said by devs that their will be time travel so I would not be surprised to see any Star Trek Captain doing voice acting. And why not some Martok voice for the klignon.

That was Scotty, not MCCoy....
McCoy had a short appearance as Admiral McCoy where he mentioned that data does not have Vulcan ears.
When data replied that he is an android McCoy said that this is even worse than Vulcan...
Should have happened in the first TNG episode "Mission Farpoint

And he was exactly 137 years old.

And even if Picard would push his 80s, the our lifspan advances in proportion to our current medical technology.
And there are/were people who got older than 100 in reality too.

So, not sure if this has been answered, but I assume the likenesses of the actors will be in the game. STO 'owns' the rights on the likenesses, correct?

Oh time travelling? The whole going back to the past can be very confusing for me.

I'd be happy with just a /engage that has Picard saying "Engage."

Picard is still alive at least in 2389.

The Path to 2409:2389 (http://www.startrekonline.com/timeline/2389)
Federation President Nanietta Bacco focuses for much of 2389 on smoothing relations between Vulcan and the other worlds of the Federation. She and Ambassador Jean-Luc Picard do much to soothe the wounds caused by the revelation that the Vulcans may have known about the Hobus supernova.

.....interviews say that voice overs are not happening right away, if at all, though I think they need SOME classic voices saying things we all know and love.... Even as a background layer or at special moments...
But we all need to say what we want to get it, if we expect to get it at all......;)
We should add more ideas to the game , help make it GREAT!

Bones was absolutely NOT trapped in a transporter buffer, he appeared in the pilot epsode of TNG (1x01 "Encounter at Farpoint") You are confused, you must be thinking of Mr. Scott from the TNG episode 6x04 "Relics".

John De Lance did a version of William Shatners STOS intro at the 1996 Star Trek Convention in Huntsville, he opened the show with it, and blew everyone away. I always said he should have done the next trek series intro.

Diametrically Both Stewart and Shatner said they hated their versions and felt like they could given time do a much better job
