Have there been any official statements made as to how often new beta invites will go out? Will it be once a week? Once a month?
Any chance, if any developers are reading this, we could get an announcement everytime a new batch of invites go out? That is something that I have seen done in many betas in teh past.
Thanks!

Nope... dont think any such news has been released on how often beta invites go out.
Best just to check that e mail and wait for a key.

Win or loose, i just want the game to be good, wether i get to be apart of that or not isn't so important to me; well i would like to, as i would be lying if i said i didn't really, REALLY want to get in, but if i don't? Meh then i don't. sides i'm not sure if i could connect, student acommadation is really anal about letting programs go through.

Well, even if one does not get into closed beta, you can always wait for open beta and participate in that to get your game testing needs in.
Hopefully they wont run out of beta keys in open beta on the first day heh heh.

Right now its been confirmed that they are only testing for 2 days a week for about 4 hours at a time. So even if you didnt get in at this point you're not missing a whole lot. In four hours I would feel like I barely got started playing.

yes I saw that someone posted that....but it's not what I asked. I'm just asking if they announced how often they are sending out invites....

No it hasen't been announced and won't be.
I once tried to give an example of how invites might be handled though:
Oh, and @ Topic: there will most likely be specific days when they send out invitations. Sadly, we don't know when those are. But you might imagine it like this:
Day 1: Playtime.
Day 2: The tech department works over all the data collected in playtime.
Day 3: Tech department: "Well, we got our stuff. To further our tests, we need some more people with Specs A, B and C and generally about 200 people more next time. Go and invite.
Still Day 3: Some other people start working over the applications to find the people with specs A, B and C, and after that, fill the rest of the 200 people demanded by the techs with people from the CO subs.
End of Day 3 / Early Day 4: Invites go out.
So, you might expect them once per week after whatever playtest there is. (if there are any...)

I kind of understand that point but 8 hours a week is much better than 0 hours a week, especially, when you've never experienced the game and have been waiting for several years.
I'd switch my shift days, especially, to make sure I was available to play during those hours.
