With all the naughtiness that was in Star Trek, especially the original series, do you think any of that cheekiness will be brought to the game. I'm not talking about full on romps mind you so dont get your phaser banks in an uproar. I'm talking about the humor, the slight of hand, the wink and a nod that Rodenberry gave the subject. He let you know exactly what was going on behind Kirk's closed doors without being in the least bit explicite.

Hopefully there will be enough of us oldsters who grew up watching the original to maybe breath a little life into this, but it'd be nice if the Dev's at least gave it a nod because after all it really was a big part(not the major part) but a big part of the original series' charm.

Rodenberry approached a lot things with humor in the original series, this topic not the least of them.

I'm hoping that some of the old 'cheekiness' you mentioned finds its way into the game. It was definitely a reoccurring theme in the old shows and its absence would certainly be felt, though honestly my hopes for seeing that sort of thing are not high. Ignoring the topic altogether is straightforward enough to do. Being explicit is simply a matter of .. umm .. correct mechanical actions. However, handling it with a wink and nod requires a degree of sophistication and wit that is much more difficult to set up properly in a flexible game play environment.

Though I'd like to take the opportunity to say if anyone at Cryptic wants to try their hand at including that sort of thing they have my full support.
