Got into the closed Beta. But it won't work.

I'm in to the closed beta and clicked on the thing to the right but it keeps going to the main front page. Tried clicking on the download page but it does the same. Tried going to the beta forums but it just says Access Denied and I haven't got permission to enter the forums.

Well, there is one thing I can tell you:

please go over to the beta forums. ALL(!!!) beta related things must be discussed there. Discussing them here won't help you and might get you kicked out of the closed Beta 'cause you break the NDA. :)

There, they will also be able to help you with your problem.

Doubt you'll get in to to much trouble as your just trying to sort it out. As Truthseer says think you should of contacted a Dev first via PM before posting. Just a tip for the future.

Maybe the devs rescinded your beta access because they looked into the future and saw that you would post a thread about closed beta in the public forum.

As has been said, PM a Dev, multiple Devs even. Just don't make it public until it's an utter, complete absolute last resort, as your beta access might be on the line for breaking NDA.

i believe a few people have this issue, i'd pm a dev then wait it out for an hour or so. could just need the webs database to be updated

Just messin with ya, of course. I did that in a closed beta once and the guy actually pm'd me the info. Yipes! Read your invitation email again very carefully, and see if there's something you might have missed, like an activation URL or something.

Also, be sure that the home page here at the right, says 'Beta: Activated' instead of just 'applied'.

A lot of people will be in that position. Early beta testing is frustrating (although STO looks very polished already). Cant wait to play the game, it is going to be a lot of fun!

Kidding! But seriously, if I were you I would hop on IRC and PM a mod, and PM Stormshade or Rekhan on forums. I would also edit and remove all my posts in this thread just to be safe (probably overkill but I would not want to be banned).

There should be an e-mail address sent in the invite that you can use to ask questions, I know from the Champions Online beta that all invites had contact information like that.
