Any word on getting an email saying we are on the list for reassurance purposes? This is for those who paid for the CO + beta access.

No, just an email. Like I wrote. Sure it says I am in the beta in my CO account. What if somehow my email was dropped from the list do to some error, how long do I wait to find out? After beta has ended? I'd like an email. Also since I most likely will buy and pay for this game for a long time. It is the very least I will ask for.

So drop the cynicism.

I really doubt that most of us CO 6 month and lifetimers will get a invite before the end of next week at best. Since after reading how they say everything starts like there really isn't that many people able to play at this point yet due to server restrictions. If we do get in before then i'd say cryptic is puting in some Crazy Stellar overtime work and even that's just a guess since I really don't understand all the work that goes into make STO.

I've been checking my email as well, but, if you're afraid that you've missed yours, the main page will change from 'Closed Beta Applied' to 'APPROVED' (may not be all caps and all, but you get the idea lol). Mine hasn't changed yet :( Playing Eve while I wait.

I don't think they are going to send an e-mail saying you will be getting an e-mail. :) (Not being snarky, just sounds redundant to me lol)

Yes I get that, I just worry lol. Right as I mentioned before if somehow my email was lost in the system due to some glitch i'd never know until beta was over. Which would suck.:eek:

It will say "ACCEPTED" , not "APPROVED. Just to clarify, in case there is later confusion.

dont for get they said that the CO subscribers wont necessarily get into the first closed beta wave, they may well get into it at a later date.

Well, getting past the WAAAAAAHHHHH part of your message...

You'd be better off getting an official response by putting in a petition at CoH/CoV rather than doing a public post in the forums. It is not good business practice to have such discussions in public view.

daeke or stormshade, forget which, did say that the CO life/6 month subs would have priority for the invites and would get in the beta long before most of the ones that applied, just that they wont get invited all at once and some other none CO lifer/6monthers will get thrown in with them. Its just a matter of having patience, which unfortunately some people completely lack. Im also not to concerned about whether or not i would get an email this weekend, cryptic never seems to have many working over the weekends expect under some rare exceptions, I could be wrong but i doubt there will be any invites over the weekend unless its set up to do it automatically.
