I am tired of seeing tiese threads complaining about not getting into Beta immediately. The lifetime and 6 month subbers are garounteed beta. If your patient youll get in on it with time. THey have to do Load tests on the servers and that means gradually increasing the load on the server, meaning reletively small groups of people are allowed access at a time.

If you can't be patient for your turn, I doubt your serious about this game. I just don't want to see another thread about this BS, I know it will happen, and itll be the same thing, If you want to make a post about it, find a thread that is already dedicated to that subject and post there... atleast keep the clutter from happening.

Again Ill say this.... They are letting Batches of testers in to do server load tests along side looking for bugs and tweaking other features.

Egh, it'll all go away within a week, which is probably how long it'll take for them to get their Beta access. I'm sort of thinking of taking a vacation from the boards until this all dies down. So annoying, I feel so bad for Cryptic right now! Honestly, no matter what they did there'd be an uproar of some sort.

Now let me start off with the fact that I'm a CO lifetime subber, but I bought it for the 8 extra slots, on top of that I've been here on the STO forums a long, long time and been very active by and large in a positive way. In fact I defended Cryptic on a number of decisions that ticked people off, including the CO beta offer. That being said, I don't care when I personally get in.

But to complain about people complain, who in fact have a pretty decent reason to complain it well to be blunt a bit of the pot and kettle.

Perhaps it would help if you understood the situation fully. While the Beta offer did not specify when it did specify that it would be closed beta. Furthermore, it was posted on multiple occasions that the CO offer people would be amongst the first to get in. They have since said the person who posted these things was incorrect in saying so, but they have yet to issue an apology for the misleading information. Nor have they done anything but offer a vague sense of when these people will get in.

If you want people to stop complaining I would argue you'd be better off simply staying out of the threads that complain, and furthermore not making new threads that complain about complainers.

Stop the complaints immediately! Any CO 6/mo or Lifetime subscriber that complains in a thread will have 1 month subtracted from their closed beta time for each and every complaint! Any forum member who starts a complaint thread will be banned from the game.
