obviously this whole beta thing has been a big blunder for cryptic. they said this, they didnt say this, it was wrong, it was premature, etc. while i did not buy a co beta deal, meaning none of this current commotion effects me, i have to wonder what it may reflect on future deals/expansions/etc? is cryptic going to make certain "promises" about bonus items and later say the earlier statements were "mistaken"?

I think they'll be a lot more careful in future, and have tighter controls on what's said so that mistakes in announcements can't be used against them by a sadly unforgiving minority of the community

calling people "whiney" just because you dont like what their saying only makes you look immature, not them. the people you are insulting obviously think what their talking about is important to them, so if talking about something you feel is important is "whining", then its "whining" when you do it too.
