View Full Version : I'm tired of FLUFF!

I'm really getting to the point of not wanting to read these "previews" anymore. They are all fluff pieces with no real information or at least nothing we haven't already known for months if not years. Who is the intended audience? People who have never heard of star trek or this game before? People that don't read these forums or browse through the official website? I don't get it...

I'm tired of fluff. I want me some fried chicken!

They aren't fluff to those new to the game (the people they are still trying to reach).

For us that have been kicking around these forums for a while ... yes, they are getting repetitive.

They are discussing the same game and most likely previewing the exact same material. It would only be logical that there would be similarities.

Get this guy some KFC.

Bingo.

Its for introducing the game to people that might not have read other interviews or been to this website.

Yet they keep slapping them up on the main page as if they were vitally important. It's best to just completely ignore all the stuff that isn't official. If you're being linked to another website, it's not important.

Well you can pretty much bet that they are at a point where the PR department and the legal department have provided them with a script to read off off. If the question isn't on the script defer to 15.b ...

15.b Your answer is, "We will be talking about that later in the PR cycle, but I promise you we have some really cool stuff coming. Really. No seriously, we do ... really cool stuff." Then nod and smile knowingly.

Yeah, I would suspect that if they are wanting to discuss certain details. Then it must fall within the criteria provided. I'm already wishing this PR cycle was over with.

Well given how people over react and hyper scrutinize everything said, of course the are not going to talk about something until they are ready to deal with the ensuing chaos.

It is like Cryptic is on trail and everything the say will used to convict them. :p

I can only think of about 5 things we've convicted them on Loekii ... the rest, we toss around our likes and dislikes about some of the details of the systems ... not the entirety of it.

MTs, Roll, Interiors, Admiral ... what else? I mean even the flare up about the tutorial being all Fed lasted all of about a day (maybe 2) before the same 6 people kept bumping the thread. LOL!

Even Klingon PvP / PvE thing will be gone and off the books by the end of the week.
