We got champions online beta very early and a bunch of free 30 day keys after the game launched....Hopefully it will be soon ive been waiting on thsi game for a very long time. The space combat was pretty good what i played. Though the guy showing it off said he wasnt sure if he would have a auto fire button, hopefully there will be could get tiring pounding the mouse button for hours.

Yes, theres a lot of us been waiting on this game best past of 6 years or more when the Sto MMO was im discussion, definatly has been a long wait lol.
Well at Pax it was told there is an Auto fire of all phasers (space bar) but other abilites have to be asigned, some have to be loaded which have a cooldown like triple Torpedos etc, they have to clicked on, it then takes a few seconds to get them ready then you position your self and fire them.

I don't blame him. I just think a corporation selling the game and offering preorder bonuses which likely include beta access is more likely to get the news before we are. ;)

if every manager of every gamestop got into closed beta nobody else would get in. how many game stops are there? over 6000 thats how many!
if even one person from each store got in that would bump everyone else out for weeks

Unless they decided to move to a phase in which they wanted to start stress testing their server, in which case they'd be trying to get as many people to log on as possible. Though something like that would probably be toward the end of the closed beta. A serious stress test would require an open beta.
Why should people at gamestop get any privileges? With that notion, every manager at Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, Amazon and former employees of KB Toys and Lionel Playworld should get beta keys.

Ronald McDonald was AT the mickeyD's near me just the other day. Couldnt muster up the will to go though....that and the court order.

Becasue we will sell more copies of this game and have more pre orders than any retailer by a good margin.

No. He's asking about beta keys for the Gamestop managers, not giving them out in the per-orders. (At least, that's how I'm reading it; I could be wrong, though. I wouldn't be surprised if I was lol)
