Rescue a borg and give it its individuality back - I'm not sure if this will be possible to do In game, However one of the Big name computer game stores is offering a "Borg Bridge Officer" as a Pre-order perk i believe.

1. don't think so, you're either stuck using the c.c or getting the amazon pre order if you want a borg.

The tricorder part has been answered. As for the Borg, at this stage we can't say what the missions will be yet. There very well could be a mission that involves trying to capture a Borg drone, isolate it from the collective, for your respective faction's intelligence branch. In which case it would probably be whisked away at the end of the mission. Or, maybe it could be some sort of NPC that can be unlocked at provide additional mission's once the drone is 'rescued'.

Until the game comes out, we can't really say what sort of specific mission objectives there will be.

It's very plausible, won't know till we play. I suspect anything you've seen in the series and movies is likely to also be availlable in game. They've frequently commented that missions will result in the possibility of a unique Bridge Officer, a Borg BO seems very possible to me.

i think that would be sweet to "rescue" a drone and basically do what Janeway did with 7 of 9.

i think it'd be kind of neat to have an episodic mission that involves potentially liberating a member of the collective and making it part of your bridge crew...perhaps it would trigger the character creator (in a slighly less open capacity) to where you can design the clothing, accessories, etc for this new borg bridge officer

along the same lines as having a race from a far reaching planet offering you a new BO, maybe this can be a special perk or something to that degree

a borg boff will be nice and i bet you they are avail as a rare find/kill/hard mission reward. fans love the borg most of the best episodes are ones with the borg. ;-)

you can have your borg boff but im holding out for a Q and one species 8472 boff ;)
