Yeah, I mean we'll need to see, at the very least, a menu for changing color output before they put it to testers, or else the game will never succeed. Come on Cryptic, you spout about customization! i played that game.
"trek 80"
on a sol 20 terminal computer running the solos/cutter operating system.
S100 bus and 8080a CPU, and all that high tech stuff.
it used a cassette tape for mass storage, till the helios floppy drives became available.
i'm pretty sure they were 10 inch floppy drives.
you bought the computer as a kit, $2100 each, and built it yourself.

i remember that the original kit came with ALMOST all the parts you needed.
after i started building the 2 that i had bought, i got a couple of small packages in the mail with three capacitors, diodes and resistors that had not made their way into the boxes on the first round of kits that they shipped.

ahh, the good old days, when you could use the video refresh signal for the cpu clock, and the question "will it bootstrap load?" actually meant something.

It's nice to see a developer with the balls to experiment with text based game play. I applaud the innovation!

I'm sorry, but that screen is terrible! Whats with the cartoony graphics? STO is just going to be another Zork clone afterall. Pathetic. I'll take my tacos elsewhere if that's the crap this game is going to be.

Why don't you invest in a better graphics engine, say like the King's Quest engine? Who cares if people's computers can't handle it? Get with the times!

Yes, this was also confirmed, but it will be handled as text-to-speech using a 1930's Vocoder voice synthesizer.

huh... weird lol. I know there's a lot of EU ppl here that add in the British U in words like color (colour) so I thought maybe it was a Brit or Aussie thing I was unaware of.
