Klingon vs Starfleet. Which side will you fight for?

When release rolls around i'll most likely have a Klingon and a Federation character. If this is not possible, i am on the fence as to which faction i would choose.

Each has their appeal.

I will play the Federation. I feel the Klingons is more gear for pvper. I am a fan for PVE.

You get one guess to figure out the faction I am looking forward to play.

Why I choose this faction? Well, I would say they are more fun than the Feds; who are always worried about things like freedom and such. Why would anyone want freedom when one could serve the Empire?! Glory and Honor is all that is needed to sustain life (well a little food and air helps but I get off topic). Also the Empire has some of the best ship technology in the Alpha and Beta quadrant.

Just look at the Vo'Quv that alone should reason enough to trust of the Klingons might. We don't wast time with padding for beds or medical facilities (see Raptor) in Klingon ships. We stock what counts: a decent cloak to surprise our enemies, lots of disruptors, and enough torpedoes to blow up a Borg Cube.

So if you ask me the choice is clear. Long live the Empire.

I plan to play Federation at first, but this is not set in stone yet.

I would play as Klingons, only because it would be cooler to play as the "bad " guys, and we've seen way too much of the Federation, and also because I'd like to play a character that's alien. I would like to play as Cardassian if that's possible in the beta, I'm assuming they're not going to be in the Federation.

Starfleet, I love the ideals of Star Trek as portrayed by the Federation, so I find it unlikely I'll want to play a faction that actively pursues war. That said i could imagine having an alterego on the Klingon side for when I've had a hard day at work :-)

If the Klingons want to be agressive and enter open conflict, we can also do that too. Starfleet will push the Klingons back to their boarders and defeat them, but we will not push into their boarders. We are a peaceful peoples. Let the savages fight amongst their houses.

If Klingon could attack each other, then I am gonna be Klingon.

a good throwback to the times when i spent way too many hours playing Klingon Academy. That game had 6 or 8 discs? i cant quite remember but it was a lot. Also had live action cutscenes with Christopher Plumber as General Chang.

Well I'll be playing both (unless that's not allowed for some reason) as well as as any other factions that come along later. But my main will be Federation. Being able to play as part of Starfleet is what really makes it a Star Trek game. I can play an honorable warrior race in any game.
