Does anyone know if you will be able to "Hail" other players with your microphone, so say me and my buddy are playing and he needs help so he sends a distress signal and i pick it up and warp to his location and hail him and when he answers I can speak to him and ask what kind of assistants he needs or what ever. Or while in orbit hail his "away team" and ask him If I can join him on missions or whatever.:confused:

One of the devs has said that STO will support in-game voice communication, but we don't know if you'll actually be able to just hail any player via voice communications or if it will only work with people that are on your team.
