So after watching all the videos from the conventions and hearing him go on and on about the game, he reminds me sooo much of my former brother-in-law in both the way he looks and the way he talks. He is just so cute :D

He reminds me of the boss on The Office. Not Michael but his boss. That CEO guy that shows up from time to time. Although a more casual version.

Haha! The only thing I noticed about him was his constant burping in all his vids, he needs to ingest antacids on a regular basis.

OMG you guys are brave! Calling "The Almighty Craig" cute or comparing him to a character from The Office??? wow that's like painting a target for the "no beta" list LMFAO

Craig reminds me (sort of) like a kid at Christmas, the way he lights up when discussing STO. I think it's really cool how someone who obviously loves Star Trek so much is the Executive Producer of STO. Makes me feel fuzzy inside...

Plus, anyone who loves grilled cheese is aces in my book. :)

Hmmm, grilled cheese...

Zinc is the visionary for STO, and that sort of enthusiasm bodes well for the title.

Yeah see, thats kind of a similiar vibe I get from him

It's like he's family, but not close family, like the kind of guy you love seeing at Christmas but barely get to spend any time with

He really is a very nice guy and indeed as said earlier he does light up when discussing sto, it proves he really cares about the game and I think it reassures lots of people to see that in him. That said I really do hope to see him more in interviews and such, he does a good job and presents the game well. Say, like the time someone asked him if we could destroy planets, the way he answered made me laugh a bit.

I like Craig personally, because he always seems genuinely excited when he talks about the game.. it doesn't come across as a pretense and more so because he blatantly knows what he is talking about in relation to the game, it doesnt come across as "filled in via someone else" or "read it of a Pr prep sheet" etc...

And because he's genuine and informed, I end up genuinely excited too because I'm believing what he's telling me and succumbing to the enthusiasm he is displaying.

And that matters.

STO is a game that gives me butterflies of excitement when I anticipate its release.. and I only ever used to get that only very rarely where games are concerned.

So thanks zinc ;)
